Thank you for your review. We do want to clarify for future guests that this is a directly beachfront property with private, direct beach access. Guests do not need to walk down the street or leave the property to reach the beach. Like many beachfront condominium buildings in Florida, the building is elevated due to coastal flooding and hurricane considerations, so there are not stairs directly from the individual unit’s sliding doors down to the sand. Guests simply exit the condo, walk down the hallway, pass the pool area, and use the property’s private beach access directly onto the sand. It is a very short walk entirely within the property (approximately 30 steps from the condo door to the sand). We’re sorry this was not what you personally considered “direct beach access,” but we do want to make the distinction clear for future guests, as the building is located directly on the beach and absolutely does provide direct beach access.

We are disappointed to read this review, particularly since we checked in with you multiple times throughout your weeklong stay and none of these concerns were brought to our attention. Regarding beach access, this is an oceanfront condominium building, and like other beachfront condos, individual units do not have private staircases from their balconies to the sand. The building is elevated approximately 8 feet for hurricane and flood protection. Guests simply exit their condo, walk approximately 20 steps down the hallway and past the pool, and they are directly on the beach. We are not sure how this could be considered anything other than direct beach access. As for the small gnats you mentioned, we certainly would have appreciated knowing about this during your stay so we could have addressed it immediately. We checked in several times to make sure everything was going well, and you never indicated there was an issue. The condo's layout, bedroom size, and photos are accurately represented in our listing so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. While we understand that every property may not suit everyone's preferences, we do feel this review misrepresents both the beach access and the level of service we provide our guests.
