La Calcinaia is a spacious villa for sixteen people (in the full version), located on an olive farm in the hills near Bucine, in Tuscany. Renovated with attention to sustainability, well-being and physical fitness, the property includes an old farmhouse, a two-level barn and an independent annex by the pool with gym, yoga area and massage room. Large rooms furnished with a contemporary style are spread over eight bedrooms and different living areas, combining traditional materials such as travertine floors and ceilings with wooden beams with designer furniture and large windows that create continuity between interiors and exteriors. Surrounded by lawns, manicured gardens and verdant hills, the villa is perfect for relaxing and dining outside, thanks to panoramic terraces, a furnished pergola, a salt-heated pool and a vegetable garden. The location is ideal for exploring Chianti, Val d'Orcia and central Tuscany. Nb. Inside the property, a 10-minute drive away, lives the caretaker who works with extreme discretion, taking care of the routine maintenance of the company's fields.

The property includes the main house, a barn and a poolside annex. MAIN HOUSE — Two floors connected by an internal staircase. GROUND FLOOR — Entrance with double service bathroom; living room with ornamental fireplace and TV; open space kitchen and dining room; two double bedrooms with divisible bed and en suite bathroom with shower; French doors with access to the outside. FIRST FLOOR — Three double bedrooms with divisible bed and en suite bathroom with shower; a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub; a twin bedroom (joinable beds) with en suite bathroom with shower; loggia. BARN — Two levels connected by internal and external stairs: ground floor with living area; first floor with a double bedroom (divisible bed) and en suite bathroom with shower. ANNEX — Two service bathrooms; fitness and yoga area; massage room; changing rooms with showers and additional bathrooms. Air conditioning in bedrooms and living areas.
Park:
The fenced park covers eight hectares, with olive groves, garden paths, aromatic shrubs and rose bushes. A lawned park surrounds the villa and guests can use the small seasonal vegetable garden. Two furnished pergolas offer shaded areas for outdoor dining: one next to the villa for breakfasts and lunches, and one near the adjoining pool for evening appetizers. A gravelled driveway and stone steps lead from the driveway to the main entrance. A charging station for electric vehicles is available. N.B.: Please note that the photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.
Pool:
The fenced pool is located about 40 meters from the villa, located on a natural terrace with views of the olive groves and the surrounding hills. Rectangular in shape; measures 12 x 7 m with a depth of 0.50 to 1.40 m; covered in PVC with a travertine paved edge; salt purification; access through submerged steps; internal lights. The pool is equipped with a thermal shutter cover and can be heated using solar panels or a heat pump. The adjoining pool includes a relaxation area with automatic awnings that open and views of the pool. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
