Spend your summer days exploring the amazing mountain vistas of Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe. You can choose from one of the many hiking trails – from easy to full ascents – stopping for lunch at one of the many traditional mountain Alms. Or rent a bike and discover the countryside. And for the adventurous, there are plenty of mountain biking trails to choose from. The pristine Lake Zell is a short distance away and is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing, swimming, and water sports. The Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Kapruner Tal Apartment.

In the winter, Kapruner Tal Apartment will be your ‘Alpine home away from home’ where you will have access to some of the best pistes in Austria. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.

Transport is easy- there is free parking for one car at Kapruner Tal Apartment. Otherwise, a Bus stop and free Ski Bus is located steps from the apartment.

The village of Zell am See sits on the beautiful glacier lake Zell (Zeller See) nestled under the Schmittenhöhe Mountain. The traffic-free Altstadt is a lovely spot to spend the day browsing through the shops or eating at one of the lovely restaurants and cafes.
Kaprun sits in the valley of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, surrounded by mountains and lush valleys, and is part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The park was established in 1981 and covers a landscape of high mountains, deep valleys and lakes more than 1800 km.
In Summer, Zell am See-Kaprun offer amazing summer activities- leisurely walks, hiking, biking, golfing and water sports- all with a backdrop of a breathtaking panorama.
In Kaprun, The Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn mountains, Sigmund Thun Klamm and The High Alpine Reservoirs provide breathtaking scenery and a multitude of different walks and hikes.
