Le Bijou Luxury Apartment in Salerno historic center

The apartment is located on the fourth floor of an elegant historic building from the early 1900s and has an elevator.
The location is very convenient for exploring Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Paestum, and Naples.
Everything is comfortably within walking distance:
the shopping street Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is 3 minutes away;
the cathedral and is awesome crypt are 5 minutes away;
the main train station to reach major Italian cities is 15 minutes away;
the “Duomo Via Vernieri” station for Naples and Pompeii is 5 minutes away;
the “Manfredi port” to reach Sorrento or the islands Capri and Ischia is 15 minutes away;
the “Masuccio Salernitano port” for the Amalfi Coast is 15 minutes away.
We are in the most elegant area of the town, full of restaurants and stores.
Nearby there are two paid garages where you can park your car.

The apartment has a large living room with a comfortable sofa bed for two people, a large kitchen and a bedroom equipped with a wide double bed.
There are two full bathrooms and one of them is inside the bedroom.
There is a washing machine at your complete disposal that you could use for free throughout your stay.

My name is Giusy, I am married to Pasquale and have two children.
I started hosting people from all over the world in 2017 with my first apartment LA MAISON DU PARADIS and it was immediately a great success.
Receiving beautiful reviews made me very happy and pushed me to continue in this exciting world of hospitality.
My mission is to make guests feel at home so that they can keep the holiday in their hearts forever.

Guide and Pasquale were very communicative, welcoming and gracious hosts. They made sure we had all the local recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see. The property is spacious and clean with all amenities you might need. There are train stations nearby within walking distance. Ferry station too. I would gladly stay here again!

If you would like to stay someplace beautiful, in a perfect location, and where you are treated like family, then Le Bijou is for you. Our family of three stayed for nine days in perfect comfort. The apartment is impeccably decorated and supplied and looks exactly as it does in the photos. The location is absolutely ideal - close to both the centro storico AND the city’s restaurant and shopping district. The lungomare and duomo are just a few minutes walk away. Owners Pasquale and Giusy operate not just like hosts, but like a top-flight concierge service. They make fantastic recommendations for things to see and do, will help you arrange things like taxi service, and check in frequently but unobtrusively to ensure you are happy and that your every need is being met. They are lovely people and that is very important to us when seeking a place to stay. We cannot recommend the experience highly enough - we’d rate Le Bijou six stars if we could.

The Perfect Apartment

What a lovely few days we had in Salerno! The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, waterfront, Duomo and other sites. Giusy and Pasquale were the perfect hosts and offered an immaculate and comfortable apartment. Communication and service were excellent and Pasquale not only waited to meet us (our train was delayed), but he also arranged our taxi for our early departure. We were sorry to have to leave. Exceptional apartment!

This beautiful apartment was my favorite stay on our long journey through Europe! The property is in the perfect location, near grocery stores, restaurants, and the train/bus stations and ferries to nearby cities and attractions. Pasquale met us on-site and assisted us with our bags and was always available for questions and offered wonderful suggestions. We stayed for five days and had easy access to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and the NAP airport. Salerno is a hidden gem that enjoys fewer tourists and has the most wonderful hospitality!

Perfection!

Our host welcomed us and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the suite. The unit had everything we needed for comfort and it was perfectly clean. The air conditioners work brilliantly, the bed was firm and comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts had a carton of milk, coffee and tea for us as well as two large bottles of water and croissants which was so welcoming. We received great guidance about what to see and do while in Salerno - everything we did (Amalfi, Ravello, Paestum) which we were so grateful for. They also gave us restaurant recommendations which made evening meals such a treat. The location of the apartment is within easy walking distance to core of old town, train station, ferries and the beach. So many shops, restaurants, wine bars and services in the immediate area. The building is lovely and well maintained and has a lift - very helpful with luggage bags! We hope to return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to stay in exactly the same place!

Great, quiet haven

Our host was amazing. He met us at the door and provided invaluable insight. We took his suggestion and had a wonderful meal. The apartment is right up the hill from the best shopping and waterfront. Thank you Pascale!

Wonderful experience!

My two boys (ages 18 and 23) and I spent 6 nights in this beautiful apartment. Pasquale met us at the door with a welcoming smile. We didn't drive and were able to walk to both of the ports, the bus and train stations, and throughout the city. It was a perfect location! The apartment is super clean and spacious. Having two bathrooms was a real plus for 3 adults as well. Pasquale gave us awesome restaurant suggestions and helped us determine our best means of transportation to all the places we wanted to see. He could not have been more helpful and gratious. We did use the washing machine and hung our laundry outside on the lines to dry - no problem. A little laundry facility was an easy 2 minute walk outside the apartment. Also a tiny bodega where we bought 40 ounce Peroni's for 1.30 euros. I can't say enough about this apartment, its hosts, and location. We did not want to be in the fray of the touristy towns. We enjoyed visiting them and coming back to some peace and quiet. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we are so glad we chose Le Bijou!

Fabulous VRBO!

My wife Susan and I rate this VRBO as Super-Excellent! The reasons are numerous: -Spotlessly Clean and Neat -Important Items included (Coffee, Olive Oil, Linens, Towels, etc. etc. -Air Conditioned -Centrally Located to Sea, Air, Rail, Bus Terminals for travels anywhere on the Amalfi Coast and Beyond -Walking Distance to the most fabulous Shops, Restaurants, Grocery, Coffee, and Gelato establishments There’s More! The hosts, Pasquale and Giusy are the kindness, nicest and most helpful people that you will ever meet. Pasquale was constantly checking in with me (text) to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. He even helped me book transportation at a discount. If all that wasn’t enough there’s Salerno. Fabulous Property—Truly Exceptional Host!

I have stayed at dozens of vacation rental properties, and Pasquale easily ranks as the best host I have encountered. Truly exceptional! He communicated perfectly and was incredibly accommodating (allowed us to store our luggage for an extra 8 hours after checkout time so that we could enjoy the area). The apartment is elegant and beautifully decorated with spacious rooms and 12-foot ceilings, located in an exquisite, historically significant building. Conveniently located near markets and restaurants, we both cooked fresh pasta in the kitchen and enjoyed some delicious meals from local restaurants. A beautiful boat ride brought us to Amalfi and Positano, where we enjoyed shopping and walking “The Path of the Gods”! This property offers a wonderful way to experience all the wonders of the Amalfi Coast. The property exceeded our expectations based on the photos and the description. It was very comfortable and Pasquale made all of the amenities easy to understand and use—we anpprec being able to wash our clothes and have fresh laundry for the remainder of our Italian adventure.

Fantastico Salerno!

Giusy and Pasqaule are very friendly and gracious hosts. We had an amazing three days in the beautiful city of Salerno and gorgeous Amalfi Coast. Pasquale provided us with all of the necessary information we needed including a ferry schedule to the coastal towns, excellent restaurant recommendations and site seeing options - Revello is a must see! Their apartment is very spacious, well equipped, has two bathrooms and is close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store for those looking to prepare their own meals. We highly recommend Le Bijou Apartment in Salerno! Ciao

Beautiful apartment

This apartment was perfect. The location was ideal, and the hosts went above and beyond to offer an exceptional experience. We had fresh oranges from their garden, they met us at the door at check in and provided tips on how to navigate the coastline. We would highly recommend this apartment, you can’t go wrong!

Perfetto per visitare Napoli ed Amalfi

Vacanza stupenda grazie all' eccezionale posizione dell'appartamento, ubicato a pochi minuti dalla stazione dei treni e dai traghetti per la costiera amalfitana. L'appartamento e' rifinito di lusso con un letto matrimoniale molto comodo; inoltre e' circondato da ottimi ristoranti dove poter degustare il meglio della cucina locale. Giusy e suo marito Pasquale sono stati molto gentili nel farmi sentire a casa e nel darmi preziosi consigli. Le Bijou sara' sicuramente il mio punto di riferimento per le prossime vacanze a Salerno.

Wonderful stay in a very nice apartment!

I booked this wonderful apartment to enjoy the magic of the Christmas lights. It was a perfect choice because of its location in the heart of Salerno's historic center. I will definitely come next summer with my friends to explore the Amalfi coast, as the ferries are only a 10-minute walk away. Giusy was very kind and gave me lots of advice. The neighborhood is very convenient because it's full of restaurants and stores. So perfect experience!!!
