Wonderful time at Casa Fenice!

A truly magnificent time spent in Italy with this accommodation offering everything that a family abroad would need, even a beach kit! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our holiday ran smoothly and were more than happy to offer help and support with any issues.

Like a 5-star hotel

The house is spacious, immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. Amelia and Kevin were incredible and thoughtful hosts, providing us with many things that made our stay special (fresh bread, aperol spritz ingredients, umbrella and linen for the beach, etc.). Even though they live right next door, they were very discreet and left us to spend time as a family. If you are after a remote stay in the Italian countryside, surrounded by farms, with lovely views, then do not hesitate to come here!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Haus war einfach nur super! Wir wurden von unseren freundlichen und ausgesprochen zuvorkommenden Gastgebern Amelia und Kevin erstklassig empfangen, fanden bereits gekühlte Getränke vor und bekamen als Willkommensgeschenk ein frisch gebackenes Brot überreicht. Amelia hatte sogar angeboten schon Lebensmittel in den Kühlschrank zu packen, da unser Jüngster allerdings eine schwere Allergie hat, haben wir dankend ablehnen müssen. Bessere Gastgeber kann man sich also nicht wünschen. Das Haus selber ist riesig und exakt so toll wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, inkl. dem phantastischen Infinity-Pool - die Aussicht ist wirklich Klasse! Alles ist super und bis ins letzte Detail überlegt ausgestattet - von der vollständigen Küchenausstattung bis hin zur fertig gepackten Strandtasche. Die bestausgestattete Ferienwohnung die wir besuchen durften! Es gibt zwei Badezimmer, drei große Schlafzimmer und ein riesiges Wohnzimmer mit erstklassigem Kino- und Lautsprechersystem. Dazu kommen der Pool und zwei große Terrassen. Das Auto steht sicher vor dem Haus auf dem Grundstück. Die Betten waren ein Traum, obwohl wir alle unterschiedliche Schlafgewohnheiten haben, fanden wir alle die Betten super bequem. Zu guter Letzt noch ein wichtiges Detail, gerade für den Sommerurlaub - alle Zimmer hatten ein sehr hochwertiges Insektenschutzsystem. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Casa Fenice und können die Unterkunft vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen!

When the kids were both at University my husband and I decided it was time for a new adventure, so we decided to move to Europe! We bought Casa Fenice in 2019, and our love of entertaining lead us to turning our home into a guest house. We have travelled extensively in the last 20 years, and made it our mission to provide everything in our guest house that we felt was missing in previous rentals we have stayed in around the world.

Why they chose this property

Abruzzo is a beautiful part of Italy that has mostly gone under the radar of International travelers, but every summer its beautiful wide sandy beaches are packed with locals enjoying the good weather and warm Adriatic sea. Much of Abruzzo is made up of National Parks and Nature Reserves, and Abruzzo is known as the greenest region of Europe! Beautiful mountains and forests, a long coastline, medieval villages and lakes and hot springs are all waiting to be explored! Do you enjoy eating out? There are many good restaurants within 10 minutes of Casa Fenice, and an excellent Michelin starred restaurant just 30 minutes away. One of the top rated restaurants in Italy is in Abruzzo!

The modern pool area and patio are like those of a stylish hotel, but one that you have all to yourself! We live in a separate house next door and are here to provide any assistance you may need at any time of the day or night, while leaving you to enjoy your peace and solitude on your holiday. Think of us as your personal 5 star hotel staff: reception, concierge, garden and pool staff... we take care of everything from restaurant bookings to packing the cushions away if rain is inbound.
