Tahoe Blue Estate is an 8,640 square foot spectacular home built on a bluff at the top of Kingsbury Grade. Tahoe Blue Estate offers you and your guests a secluded getaway with phenomenal 360 views of beautiful Lake Tahoe from nearly every room that will take your breath away! Many rooms also have spectacular views of the Heavenly Ski resort along with hundreds of acres of forest. Sitting on over 1.7 acres, the gated estate offers a private mountain getaway for the ultimate in relaxation, yet is less than a 10 minute drive to the casinos and downtown South Lake.

The home includes 7 bedrooms (one of which is semi-private), 7.5 baths and plenty of room for entertaining. Enjoy the sunset over the lake in the beautiful indoor spa or rack a game of pool and watch a movie in the recreational room! The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line professional appliances (including two dishwashers, an espresso machine, and a Viking range), sure to impress any chef. Once you have prepared you meal, enjoy it with your guests on our custom built dining room table that sits 18. Have a drink and enjoy the views at either of the two bars or sit and relax with company in front of the fireplace. The main master includes a soaking tub, fireplace and seating area, and three of the seven bedrooms are mini masters with their own private bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and the semi-private room are located in a separate, fully equipped apartment (including a full kitchen) that can be accessed through the house or through a separate entrance, making the home perfect for multiple families! There is also a 2 car garage and a large heated drive to fit a total of 9 cars. Numerous other luxury amenities and high end details throughout the home will allow you to experience the best of Tahoe and a getaway unlike any other!

If you are staying with us in the winter, a day of skiing or snowboarding is easy to plan with the estate being only 0.5 miles from the Boulder lift/lodge and 1.5 miles from the Stagecoach lift/lodge, both of which are a part of the Heavenly Mountain. For those coming during the warmer months, there are plenty of great hiking and biking trails in the area, and the beaches are a 10 - 15 min drive down the mountain.

No matter what time of year, Tahoe Blue Estate is sure to provide you with the vacation of your dreams!

-We like to inform all guests that we do have a ring doorbell and outdoor security cameras that record motion. Their purpose is to record outside activity while the property is vacant and nothing more. There are no recording devices in the house and those outside are used for security purposes only.

We moved up to South Lake Tahoe/Stateline because we loved the beauty and nature of the area. We love to ski/snowboard in the winter and hike/mountain bike in the summer.

Why they chose this property

We toured the house and thought it was the most spectacular home we'd ever seen in Tahoe. Astounding lake and/or mountain views from nearly every single room are found in this beautiful 8,640 sq ft gated estate. Extraordinary wood and stone work along with beautiful furnishings make this home truly luxurious.

Originally built for $8 million in 1992 for Charlie Ray, owner of Sea Ray Boats, the foundation was attached to the large boulders and a helicopter was used to set the beams. The house has been wonderfully maintained since then and has been remodeled twice. We knew it had the privacy, the views and the luxurious accommodations to meet the high expectations of an executive retreat or world class family vacation.

We can't wait for you to experience the incredible sunsets and classic Tahoe motif that made us fall in love with this little piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

The private gated estate sits on 1.7 acres of land on top of an outcrop overlooking Lake Tahoe - offering one of the most secluded properties in Tahoe, yet still easily accessible on well-plowed roads close to the Kingsbury Grade. The estate enjoys unimpeded breath-taking (literally) views of the lake, Heavenly Ski Resort and surrounding scenery. Nearly everyone first visiting the home pulls out their phones to take pictures of the lake.

With a heated driveway and decks, a 2-car garage and abundant driveway parking and a location only 1/2 a mile from the lifts, Tahoe Blue Estate is perfect for rest and relaxation whether for an executive retreat or luxurious family vacation!
