Studio No2, Ground Floor Cockermouth, The Lakes

A self contained studio apartment in the popular town of Cockermouth on the edge of the Lake District with easy access to Lorton Valley, Keswick and surrounding fells and beauty spots.

With its boutique shops, lovely bars and tasty restaurants, Cockermouth is a welcoming place to visit.

The studio has a double bed, sofa, large tv, shower room and kitchen.

We provide a cooling system for your use too.

We allow dogs at a price of £12 for the length of your stay.

Stylish Studio Space

We are available to contact 24 hours a day for emergencies and between 8am and 10pm for general enquiries

Check in from 4pm and check out is 10am. If you require an early check in or late check out we will endeavour to do our best with this and it is capped at 2hrs. There is a charge of £10 for either or £15 for both as we will need to bring in another cleaner to assist with the change over. Please try and give us advanced notice too.

Parking options include free street parking (5 minutes walk)
Long and Short stay car park £5 per 24 hours (20 metres from apartment)
Please note car park prices are subject to change but are correct at time of writing.

Pros: Good value Excellent location in Cockermouth (especially bakery over the road!) Decent size for a couple Cheap parking nearby Easy to find and access Cons: Squashy uncomfortable mattress Needs blackout blinds/curtains No freezer, could use more glasses, crockery etc. We spent four lovely nights here and if the bed and blackout were improved then we’d happily return.

Lovely flat

All the facilities are great, decorated beautifully, very comfy bed, nice shower. The information and communication was great with easy check in to the property.The location was really good as it was very near to shops and places of interest but far enough away to avoid noise from bars and traffic. It was right by a sainsburys which was really handy. Will stay again!

Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. Thank you for a nice stay.

Short Stay

Property was just what i needed for a couple of nights. Main Room was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen great. Only issue was traffic noise from 800 onwards each . If youre an early riser then this wont be an issuedaymorning.

ALTHOUGH DECENT INITIAL COMMUNICATION FROM OWNER, THERE WAS NO REPLY AT ALL FROM ANY TELEPHONE MESSAGE/WHATSAPP OR EMAIL I SENT. THERE WAS NO CAR PARKING DISC AS PROMISED IN THE FLAT. ALSO ONLY 1 TOWEL FOR 2 OF US, LIGHT NOT WORKING ABOVE BATHROOM SINK. NOISY FROM BOTH THE ROAD ALL NIGHT AND FROM UPSTAIRS. EXTRACTOR FAN WITH A VERY SQUEAKY BATHROOM DOOR MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GO TO THE TOILET IN THE NIGHT WITHOUT MAKING A LOT OF NOISE!... SEEMS MINOR BUT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO FIX. WORSE OF ALL WAS A REALLY POOR MATTRESS. ENDING UP SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR.

Cockermouth is a lovely place to visit with its welcoming atmosphere to beautiful setting, you will feel like a local in no time. We are very close to Keswick and other tourist hot spots. Cockermouth is known for its wonderful restaurants and stunning rivers that runs through the heart of the town.
