There is one first-floor double bedroom, along with a first-floor bathroom. Outside there is a non-enclosed paved patio with bistro table and chairs, and off-road parking for one car. Note: Bookings at this property must be minimum 3 nights. Within 1.5 miles you will find a shop and pub,. Sorry, no smoking. Pets are not accepted at this property. The community is first mentioned in 1284, and in 1375 a corn mill was moved from Warley Town to exploit the Luddenden Brook. Nearby, the attractive town of Hebden Bridge is the home to the picturesque Rochdale Canal and a delightful Victorian railway station. The town of Mytholmroyd is an easy drive away, the birthplace of Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, and famous for the Cragg Vale Coiners. This is excellent walking country, with the National Trust Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way, plus the area hosted the Tour De France in 2014. Enjoy scenic drives and cycling across the moors, whilst nearby Haworth boasts the Parsonage Museum commemorating the famous Bronte family who lived there. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, whilst Halifax is noted for its unique Piece Hall, Dean Clough mill complex of art galleries, theaters and restaurants, as well as the highly-acclaimed Eureka Children’s Museum.
