Lovely, clean and fresh cottage, fantastic location, really comfortable beds and dark at night, which all adds up to a very restful place. Will definitely stay again.

Well preserved building. Refined modernization that preserved the character of the property. We enjoyed our time in Montecute. I especially enjoyed the church of Saint Catherine, just a short walk. Montecute house was interesting but only the lowest level was available for viewing due to stair restoration activities.

Very cute and cosy cottage with lovely decor. Great location in picturesque village and very handy for nearby National Trust properties and the coast. Very nice pub serving good food in the village. Couldn’t ask for more!Hosts were very responsive, going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok.I’m sure we will be back.

We loved our stay at this cosy little cottage. Really quaint, and just a short walk from Montacute House, which is a fun National Trust site. The kitchen facilities are so nice to cook in, the bathroom is great, and the rooms are very comfortable. The hosts are super communicative on message but left us to check in and out using the key code, which was super easy.I would absolutely stay here again.

The property was perfect for our needs as we were working at Montacute House for a few days. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, no complaints at all. I will certainly try and stay there again. Our only issue was we had been given the wrong keycode and so we spent a tense time late at night in the dark and rain trying to get in. Once we managed to speak to Customer Service the problem was resolved quickly so all was well.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience, we did not realise the incorrect code was listed in the house manual. We have corrected this, thank you for bringing it to our attention and again we are very sorry.

Beautiful cottage

We had a really good time (2 nights) in Montecute, it's a lovely village. We eat at the Kings Arm, food was nice and not expensive. We visited Montecute House, unfortunately the two upper floors were closed due to refurbishment. Nice walks around the village. definitely recommend the cottage and location

Perfect stay

Lovely clean, very well equipped cottage with a delightful garden. All our needs were catered for. The cottage is in a fabulous setting. Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. Hope to return to the cottage before too long.
