Ideal location and a great place to rest our heads. Two rooms and two bathrooms. We felt very safe in the neighborhood at all hours and in the building. We all slept well. We didn't have a car in Dublin and rarely needed a taxi because this place is so central and walkable. Very glad we stayed here.

Nigel is an excellent host. This apartment is very simple but has most everything you need. The parking situation takes some finesse, needing to be let in and out but it was never a problem. We all fit and slept comfortably and even though it was on a busy street, it was quiet at night. We are glad we all got to stay together here!

Unfortunately, the pictures on the site are not the same as the apartment. Everything would have been fine except for the horrible stench coming from the main bathroom. Too many air fresheners in the apartment are clearly trying to hide some problem. The icebox was totally frozen with ice. It was cleaned to an acceptable level. The two single bed mattresses are in dire need of replacement. The apartment is spacious and close to public transportation. The host did respond to messages when contacted.

This was 1 of 3 locations our family stayed in on our trip to Ireland (4 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant) . We left after our first night due to discomfort. Positives:CleanCommunicative /responsive hostOff street parking Pack and play provided Good heatingNegatives:-WiFi was not working-Strong smell of marijuana in hallways and lift-Musty smell in apartment -Had to ask host for access every time leaving and arriving to the parking lot -Overall uncomfortable neighborhood- very loud screaming on street all night that could be heard inside-Mini fridge only -No television-Limited hot water Overall, I believe this could be an adequate location for young adults traveling who just need a place to crash at the end of the night. 30 minute drive to popular pubs and shops
