The photos make this property look a lot better than the reality. The reality is that the house is very tired and in need of TLC. The entire place stank of bleach when we arrived, yet simple things like cobwebs and dirty cupboard doors had not been cleaned. Half eaten and opened food from previous guests had been left in the cupboards. Bugs were found in one bed. Packets of rizla were found by our children in the garden on the furniture. It was a really poor experience. Only positive is the location being close to Chester Zoo and a Co-Op.

The property sleeps 7 people but does not seat that many in either the living room or at the dining table. There are multiple controllers for the tv but of no use as we could only access a hand full of channels. There were cobwebs everywhere, plaster coming off of walls, a very uneven kitchen floor and cupboard doors not closing properly. Curtains did not have enough hooks to fit properly. Blinds in the downstairs bedroom were broken. I contacted the host twice before and during our stay but had no response. This place needs a lot of TLC.

The house could be lovely. It was the perfect size for our family and within walking distance of chester. However it was not clean at all. Bedding was ok but the kitchen was grim. The washing up liquid had run out and the kitchen light was not working, i contacyed the host who was quick to respond and happily fixed the light and supplied the washing liquid. But we had to wash all glasses, crockery, cutlery and utensils as they either had food, dust or grim on them. Some cleaning had taken place as the floors were ok. But there was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The house needs some love. The kitchen cupbaords are falling apart, paint is chipped/cracking and everything just looks tired. If we were staying longer than a couple of nights we would have left early. Very disappointing.
Cracked paint and cobwebs
Many many dirty hand prints
Drainage board had mold and gunk
Every window had dirt and dust
