Welcome to three floors and six bedrooms of luxury living close to the Yorkshire coast. If you’re planning a family or friends’ getaway to celebrate a special occasion, and want to stay in a house that’s elegant and comfortable, this is your ideal location. The whole house has recently been lovingly restored to present a beautiful home-from-home with plenty of room for up to 12 guests to enjoy each other’s company as well as some privacy. Let’s take a look around:

OPEN PLAN LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN / DINING AREA
A group of up to 12 people needs a big space in which to relax and eat together. That’s exactly what you get here, with an open-plan space that extends for the length of the house. At one end, the living area with three sofas ensures there’s space for everyone to sit and catch up and plan what you’re going to do. There’s also a wall-mounted flat-screen TV in here, so you can all gather to watch something together if you get the time.

This living space is next to the dining area. If you’re planning a sit-down meal to celebrate a family occasion, perhaps an important wedding anniversary or a 50th or 60th birthday, this really is the place for you as the dining table seats 12 people at once, so you can all celebrate in style together.

And serving up any food you’ve prepared is easy, as the kitchen is right next to the dining area. It features quality countertops and cabinets, plus all the appliances, cookware and cutlery you’re likely to need to cater for the food and drink needs of up to 12 people. And the presence of a dishwasher means no one will get lumbered with having to do all the washing up!

6 BEDROOMS
The house has 3 bedrooms with double beds and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds, an ideal arrangement for multiple multi-generational families. Even better, all of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, and a smart TV each. So everyone can get to watch or stream the content they want during your stay. Some of the bedrooms also feature a desk and chair - ideal if you need space to get ready for the day ahead, or if someone in your group has work to do.

6 BATHROOMS
Each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom, so between them there’s a choice of showers and bathtubs for everyone to use to freshen up. Your hosts will provide towels and toiletries for all guests, so there’s no need to bring those with you.

OUTSIDE SPACE
If you book a stay here during the warmer months of the year, you will have the option of using a hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation. Please ask your hosts about the availability of the hot tub for your stay.

PARKING
There is parking available outside the house and on the surrounding streets, but you will need parking permits. These can be arranged by your hosts as long as you let them know in advance that you require them.

Your hosts actually have two very similar six-bedroom properties next door to each other to let. These can be let individually as homes for 12 people or as one big house via an inter-connecting door. 12 bedroom home for 24 guests (there’s a connecting door in the kitchens of both the homes that will be locked if you are letting just one of the homes or open if you are letting both).
If both houses are booked, additional tables are provided so that everyone can dine together in one house.

PARKING
There is parking available outside the house and on the surrounding streets, but you will need parking permits. These can be arranged by your hosts as long as you let them know in advance that you require them.

Fun for all of the family is assured at this new £15million attraction that’s close to the house. There are outdoor pools, a wave machine and a variety of thrilling state-of-the-art water rides.

If you’re planning to drive here, please let your hosts know as they can arrange parking permits for you. Having a car will enable you to explore more of this beautiful area of North Yorkshire, with Whitby, Filey and Robin Hood’s Bay just some of the places that are within an hour’s drive of the house.

But there’s no need to bring a car as you can use buses to get around the local area or hire cabs. Scarborough railway station can also be easily reached from the house. Train services can take you to Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield as well as other destinations in northern England.

Although this house is ideal for family and friends gatherings, please do not book this house if you are planning a loud celebration. This is a terraced house located on a residential street, so the needs and privacy rights of neighbours need to be taken into account.
