As you step inside, there is a spacious light conservatory. Carry on through to the kitchen and dining areas which seamlessly integrate modern functionality with a rustic charm. The well-appointed kitchen, equipped with contemporary appliances and ample storage, makes culinary endeavours a joy. The adjacent dining space opens onto the rear garden which opens onto the fields beyond, offering an inviting setting for al fresco meals or simply savouring the fresh country air. This area has been designated a ’Dark Sky’, the perfect place to sit amongst the millions of stars. The spacious lounge has sumptuous sofas and a cosy electric fire, ideal for chilling with a book and relaxing. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed; wake up to the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Two additional twin bedrooms, one accessed through the other, are designed with comfort in mind. There is also a spacious wet room.
Wicken is only 3 miles away where you will find the Wicken Fen Nature Reserve and pub/restaurant. The area is naturally flat so is accessible for many that enjoy walking amongst nature. Ely is only 15 minutes away. A visit to the famous cathedral is a must, then a stroll around the town with its mix of shops and cafes. Pop into historic town of Cambridge for the day, have a guided tour in a punt to take in the splendid architecture or do some retail therapy. The Stables provides a comfortable and stylish living space with its perfect blend of rural charm and modern amenities. It stands as a testament to the allure of countryside living in one of England’s historic and picturesque regions. The welcome basket is made up of items to suit the age of the guests, and if there are children there could be little wooden games.
