The cottage sits next to the owner's grade 2 listed former forge on 2 acres of garden with a large fenced and gated pond, which you are free to explore.

Croft Cottage is located in the grounds of our 16th &17th Century Grade II listed country house.
The accommodation is separate to the main house which we live in with our family. You will have your own entrance and there is plenty of space outside to share.
We are a Yorkshire born family, from Sheffield and further North in Harrogate. We love the rolling green of the Derbyshire hills, so close to the dramatic landscape of The Peak District.
Our home is located in an area of stunning countryside with so much to do and see, whether you fancy walking, cycling, riding or visiting the many historic sites in the area. There are also some popular bird watching sites nearby.
We enjoy walks with our family, swimming in the outdoor pool at Hathersage and cycling at the nearby Monsall Trial stoping off at Thornbridge Hall.
We are excited to offer a base for you to explore this beautiful location.
