Great for family!

Very clean and comfortable. We didn't get the welcome packet/access info until we requested it an hour before arrival, but host was very quick to respond. Wish there had been shampoo or that I had known that when packing, as this is the first VRBO I've stayed at that didnt have shampoo.Lots of fun lake toys to enjoy even when the lake was too cold to jump in. Great place to crash at night for a reunion in the area!

Kid Free Weekend

My wife and I had a great second time staying at this property. The lake is great with lots of toys to use in the water. The cabin has everything a family would need. Great place to stay!

Beautiful Location

This was a great place for our family vacation. We had 4 adults, a 3 year old & 10 month old twins. The kitchen was set up well, there was plenty of room inside and outside. Nice little beach area for little kids to "swim" and the lake was wonderful. We had pretty good luck fishing and the bay we found for swimming was great. Not a super busy lake at the time we were there, so that was a plus! Would definitely recommend this location to others!

Great family get away.

Great property for a family get away. Plenty of activities available so everyone had something enjoyable to do. It was a quiet area and lake, so it was also easy to relax.

Great family vacation!

This was an awesome spot for our family vacation! The house was clean and supplied with the basics but the best part was the outdoor space. The water toys provided hours of entertainment and the bonfire space was perfect for relaxing in the evening.

Quiet setting

Our family had a good time. The place is clean and it is a very quiet setting. Having more wood available for campfires would be nice so we don’t have to haul any from home.

Water toys make the trip!

This is a great spot, very secluded on a heavily wooded lot. The best part were all the awesome water toys - a lili pad, paddle boat, paddle board and kayaks. Kept the kids super busy and we all had a lot of fun. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Grandma get away.

Spent a few days away in August with my daughters and grandkids. We had a blast. My grandson screamed I love this place when we arrived and looked around and explored the property. It was a very nice end of summer retreat.

Nice lake house!

Comfortable lake house on a great fishing and swimming lake near Brainerd attractions. It is a little drive to to the nearest town (about a half hour) so come prepared. There is also public water access on the far north end of the lake for bringing your own boat. Our group was 4 adults and 5 children ranging from ages 3-11 and everyone was very happy with the stay.

Perfect Long Weekend

I was overall completely satisfied and impressed with this property. The property itself was spacious, and cozy. And the view of the sunset was absolutely unbelievable. Our family had a blast on the kayaks and paddle boards. It was very quiet and peaceful, just what we were hoping for and the trails were a neat unexpected treat. My kids have already stated this is somewhere they would LOVE to stay again, and I couldn't agree with them more.

Great location and nicely appointed

We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away. Ross Lake is lovely. The home is nice, has everything you need with a nice open layout, and the owners have stocked a great selection of lake toys (kayaks, paddle boards, etc.) for guests to use. Owner was receptive to feedback during our stay about a couple of items. We would book this location again.

Fantastic place

We had a lovely stay!! We stayed Monday-Saturday! We pretty much had the lake to ourselves. Loved the water toys! Nothing more relaxing then sitting on the dock listening to the loons sing!! The walk to the lake is a bit steeper than it looks. Rather difficult for older parents. Fantastic place!

Quiet relaxing getaway

We had a great time at the cabin! The water toys were so much fun and the kids loved using them all day. The lake was very quiet and very little traffic. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The games and movies were nice but we didn’t use them much cause the lake and weather were beautiful! The walking trail across the street is a must see! Great place and highly recommend!
