Summary:
Welcome to the grand, two floor, refurbished gem in the heart of Copenhagen at Queens Courtyard. This is designed for larger families or groups travelling together or in need of a monthly stay, right in the sweet spot of Copenhagen.
The Space:
The arched windows and the many pillars create a warm and special feeling in the huge living area of this newly renovated historic apartment. The 50’s are back and the original design of the apartments in Dronningegården (Queens Courtyard) has been meticulously carried out throughout the renovation of the apartments with lots of historic details, beautiful curves and well thought through architectural solutions.
A TOUR OF THE PLACE
From the street entrance in the corner of the courtyard take a couple of steps up to find the apartment entrance to your right through the swing doors.
You can leave your luggages and hang your overcoats at the entrance before entering the open kitchen and living room.
The first bathroom is attached to the entrance and has a complete washer and dryer for your dirty laundry and a spacious shower with hot water that never runs out.
The dining area boasts a big dining table for 8 and a full size and fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a family dinner.
Further into the living room the lounge area is completed by a comfortable 3 person sofa that unfolds to a high quality queensize bed (160x200cm) and lounge chairs. Enjoy your favourite Netflix show on the 50” Smart TV.
The master bedroom is behind the staircase that takes you to the downstairs sleeping area.
The master bedroom has a cabinet and a comfortable kingsize (180x200cm) bed with a hypoallergenic pillow selection and warm fluffy comfy’s for those cool Scandinavian nights.
Downstairs two more bedrooms with kingsize beds that split into singles if preferred.
The second full bathroom is downstairs next to the two bedrooms.
The Neighborhood:
Dronningegården is a true Copenhagen gem with a perfect and quiet location right behind Kongens Have (The Kings Garden) and the cultural hotspot of Kongens Nytorv. The building is from 1958 and was recently declared protected due to its architectural value. The metro station is 7 minutes walking and from there a 12 minute ride to the airport.
Getting Around:
Metro station Kongens Nytorv is 8 min. walking away.
