Stunning, modern, spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, main door, easily accessible ground floor flat, located a short walking distance from the city centre. This extremely attractive and very spacious property was previously an old leather house and tailor shop, prior to conversion to its current status as a modern residential property designed to the highest specification. Located on the very doorstep of the place where Sean Connery grew up, attended school, did his milk round before becoming shaken and stirred to the dizzy heights of 007 stardom.
Parking: There is limited FREE overnight street parking on Grove Street and surrounding areas such as Gardener’s Crescent, on single yellow lines between 6:30pm to 8:30am the following morning.
There is on-street parking on Grove Street but this is a mix of loading bays, permit holders only, disabled badge holders and general parking bays, albeit having to feed a parking meter with a restriction of 4 hours of parking at a time.

Fiona greeted us early to get us settled so we could begin discovering Edinburgh. The entire home was clean and comfortable. Beds were lovely. Before and during our stay, Fiona, the property manager, was available to assist us. The kitchen contains plenty of soap, paper towels, dishes, pots and pans, plus coffee, tea, and a few snacks. with what we needed to prepare breakfast and lunch. Plenty of hot water for showers/baths. Easy walk from tram to arrive and to bus stop for seeing sights.

Excellent location! Spacious,
We were 4 persons and found the place very well located. Only issue was it did not have A/C to cool the place. We informed Fiona and she got us 2 fans. Luckily the weather was cool so ac was not as important. The location was central and the apartment was very clean.

Clean, safe, well provisioned apt. Only complaints are: loud street noise- it is a ground floor apt. No view and most importantly, there is no air conditioning as was claimed in the description.

Our Taylor Swift Concert Stop
We were so lucky that Peter's property popped on the market just in time for our stay! We were traveling to Edinburgh to see Taylor Swift in concert and the hotel we had booked would have been too tight for the 6 of us. We also wanted to stay somewhere that we could easily access the Murrayfield Stadium from. We had tons of communication leading up to our stay from Fiona (Peter's property manager). Fiona even met us at the property and introduced herself. We also had the code to the door so that we knew we wouldn't have an issue getting in. Fiona had laid out some friendship bracelets for my girls since she knew they were in town for the concert along with some other toiletries and personal touches that made our stay extra special. We had lots of room to get ready and found the desks in each room very helpful. We were able to walk to and from the stadium with ease and felt very safe in the property and area around it. We also had an easy walk to the castle and other tourist landmarks. We would stay again!!!

Over 5 years ago I sold our Canadian services business and moved the family to beautiful Edinburgh. Initially as a magical and historical destination we fell in love with the City. However, the longer we stayed and the more you meet the Scots, the better our experience was until we decided to settle here. A vibrant city steeped in history inhabited with wonderful people. We would be proud to host you at our property and would do everything to ensure you had a great stay.

The property is situated in a prime location in the city centre. Within walking distance to many historical and tourist locations such as Edinburgh Castle a 15-20 minute walk away, situated at the top of the Royal Mile sweeping down to Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth, Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park. A ten minute walk to Haymarket train station and the tram stops directly outside the station. A ten minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to the West End, the start of Princes Street with many high end shopping locations running parallel to George Street. At the far end of Princes Street is St James Quarter, an impressive shopping experience mingled with high end restaurants and activity opportunities. A further 5 minute walk will see you arriving at the Play House Theatre and the Omni Complex hosting a cinema and restaurants galore. All of this situated at the top of Leith walk where the tram lines have been extended to Newhaven. Everything you could ever want to experience in Edinburgh can be reached on foot or by transport.

My property is located on the ground floor, street level with secure main door securely lockable, entry, easily accessible with one step into the vestibule. It is located in a quiet, well maintained, peaceful street with excellent neighbours. The property is soundproofed and very cosy and warm and decorated to the highest standards. Crisp, clean, fresh linens and towels provided for all guests. A utility room off the hallway hosts an economical and easy to use washing machine. The bedrooms are spacious, with walk in storage cupboards and wardrobes, very comfortable beds and a desk and chair. The kitchen/lounge area is fully equipped with all you would need to cook or bake.
