LOCATION:



Located in the popular seaside town of Ryde with its host of vibrant shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, it’s just a short stroll down the road to the beach, where the vast stretches of sand offer you fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth. Here, the landmark Spinnaker Tower forms an impressive backdrop. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property.



Ryde is known as the gateway to the island as it can be easily reached within just two hours directly from London Waterloo via train, which connects with the island’s catamaran and hovercraft services via Portsmouth and Southsea. Mainland motorways also connect directly with car ferry ports located at nearby Fishbourne or East Cowes.

Bedroom 1: Double-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, hanging rail, chair, low level tv unit with TV



Bathroom: Bath with electric shower over, wash basin and wc

Communal gardens, Parking for 1 vehicle within the grounds of the development available on a first come first served basis.





ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:



PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken, unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.



There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION:



The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



No pets are allowed.



No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.



There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.



Please be advised access to this ground-floor apartment is via a set of stairs to the front of the building which includes 8 steps.



Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.



A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

A little gem in Ryde

Location is superb. So close to the centre of Ryde and yet tucked away up a driveway within beautiful and calm garden surroundings. Very clean and tidy inside with good use of space and with a feeling of quality and class in the furnishing and accessories etc. Kitchen area has good facilities. Ensuite is spacious and the shower is a good size. Comfortable bed and good wardrobe space. Sash windows and shutters gave a lovely period feel. The usual great customer service from The Island Holiday Company made the stay relatively problem free Wifi is not great. Even after moving the WiFi extender into the communal area, it was difficult to get any reliability or strength in connection. The unseasonal weather meant it was a little cold and other than a plug in portable radiator, the heating did not seem to come on and the instructions in the Welcome Folder were wrong (I.e. it was not thermostat controlled as implied by the instructions). The door release didn't work but only discovered that on the last day. Other than the WiFi these were not raised with the company but I imagine if I had they would have been resolved as I have found them responsive in the past
