Casitas Batsú has 2 beautiful, totally new and independent casitas: Casita Esmeralda and Casita Talamanca.

Both have High speed Wi-Fi Fiber Optic, a king bedroom, a single bedroom, a kitchen, a terrace and a private garden area.

They can be rented individually or together and enjoy the entire property.

At Casitas Batsú you will have an immersive experience in the tropical jungle without giving up any comfort. You will wake up every morning to the ritual song of the howler monkey, you will be visited by toucans and if you are lucky you will be able to see sloths up close. Batsú means hummingbird in the BriBri language, another of the beautiful creatures that frequently visit our garden.

Our two houses are ideal for singles, couples, groups of friends or small families who appreciate the comfort of a fully furnished home instead of a hotel room, and the cultural experience of living in a real, local neighborhood surrounded by locals . living to the rhythm of the Costa Rican “Pura Vida”.

Playa Chiquita is a safe and idyllic beach town 7 km south of Puerto Viejo. Strategically located on one of the most picturesque stretches of Costa Rica's Caribbean coast.

You will be just a few minutes from paradisiacal beaches, a complete grocery supermarket (El Duende Gourmet), good restaurants, organic and craft shops, bicycle rentals, a couple of yoga studios, several massage centers and a bus stop . with direct service to San José, Limón, Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo.

This location is perfect for travelers who want to explore the stunning nature of the place, telework, surf, immerse themselves in the local culture or simply come to relax on the magnificent beaches around.

HOUSE RULES:
•⁠ ⁠Parties or events are not allowed.
•⁠ ⁠Please avoid loud noises after 9:30 pm.
•⁠ ⁠Smoking is not allowed inside the houses, if you are going to do so, do it outside and throw the butts in the ashtrays that we leave for such purposes.
•⁠ ⁠When you leave the house we recommend that you leave the keys in the safe boxes with code, installed for this purpose. ⁠Lost keys will cost $25.
•⁠ White towels are for exclusive use in indoor showers. Colored towels are for the beach.
•⁠ ⁠Our furniture was chosen and made with love, we ask that you take care of it.
• For your comfort, avoid sitting on outside cushions or hammocks in wet clothes. Remember that you are in the Caribbean and humidity is important. Everything costs to dry!

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO COME WITH YOUR PET:
⁠With regard to pets we can consider receiving dogs, but unfortunately we cannot accept cats, reptiles or other species. It can be a real problem for them. For dogs, you must pay an additional deposit of $150. They are not allowed to climb on beds, armchairs, hammocks, or leave them alone on the property.
