Your little mountain house is located on a quiet street and backs the National Forest! It is a very cozy, small one bedroom, one bathroom house with a European style kitchen, queen size bed in the bedroom, washer/dryer combo, Jerome claw-foot bathtub, and a sofabed in the livingroom for additional sleeping space. We have a large Yurt in backyard which is a fantastic place to relax after a full day of activities! There is direct access to miles of hiking trails right out of our back yard gate. Our property is located 10 minutes from downtown Flagstaff, 1.5 hours from the Grand Canyon and 45 minutes from Sedona. The Snowbowl Ski Resort and the Nordic Center for cross country skiing are about 30 minutes away.

Perfect little cabin for my family of 4
The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful and had everything we needed. We took a great nature hike, right outside the back door. The hosts were amazing and kind. I could not have asked for more.
Cozy mountain home—worked perfectly for our N Arizona getaway
We absolutely loved this house. All 4 of us (parents; 8 & 11 yo kids) “oohed” and “aahed” when we walked in the door. It way exceeded our expectations! It has beautiful wood flooring, creative natural wood tables, and an old fashioned appearing “wood burning” stove. It is very clean with updated, space efficient kitchen that was fun to cook in and an immaculate, charming bathroom. Sleeping for 4 was just fine—a queen size bed and sofa bed that was comfortable.
As advertised, the house abuts a forested area and you can literally walk out the backyard into it with trails to explore.
The owners are wonderful! Clearly, put a lot of thought and work into making this house comfortable for guests. Marty emailed me ahead with helpful info on the area, instructions on how to access the house and made sure we had all that we needed (even dropping off an extra space heater and blankets ahead of our arrival when I asked if we should bring our own since we run cold—turns out that gas heater and down comforters in the beds were more than enough even when it was 28 degrees outside).
We had a wonderful experience in this home and highly recommend it.
Loved this place!
Communication with Marty was easy for checking in. Everything was perfect, so didn’t have to contact until checking out. Location was perfect for a day trip to Sedona and close enough to Flagstaff for easy access to restaurants and stores. Quiet location and lots of updates to a cozy little hideaway. Would highly recommend.
Great place to relax and unwind!
We enjoyed our time in Flagstaff in this cute one bedroom. The yurt was an added bonus and great addition for reading and enjoying the sound of the rain. Thanks for being great hosts!
It’s was perfect
Beautiful home , great communication and response . We could have not ask for a better place to stay at .
Cabin in the woods with modern updates
We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was easy to use. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and walking in the woods. We could hear the elk one morning but couldn’t drag are cells out from the gas fireplace to Try and view them. The yurt was a great hit. At first we thought we might be too far out of town but was very easy to get in and out of town for meals and activities
