Great downtown location !! This was our third time staying at this property. Great communication with the owner Jac. Very clean and comfortable. All amenities you need for your stay. Everything in downtown Flagstaff including shops, restaurants and such are within walking distance. Love this property !!

Upon arrival, I was given a tour of the historic cottage house. The house was very clean and parking was super easy. We were close to downtown and several great restaurants. We enjoyed stay and plan to stay here the next time we visit Flagstaff.

It was such a lovely charming place to stay! A nice blend of the historic building's charm and updated in practical ways, and the location is absolutely fantastic, within nice short walking distance of many good places in downtown Flagstaff, but not overly close to the highway either. The host was very helpful and accommodating when meeting to go over things initially.

I knew the Historic Downtown Carriage House had a high rating but when I booked it but when I arrived and saw it my expectations were exceeded. Not only was the Carriage House clean and cozy but it was very convenient to the restaurants downtown. Jac is a wonderful host. His communications were easy to understand and everything I needed was available.You won’t be disappointed if you stay at the Carriage House.

Clean, charming carriage house in great location. Beautiful hardwood floors and the bathroom has recently been remodeled. Close to restaurants. Jac was the perfect host and has extensive knowledge of the area. Would definitely stay there again.

What a golden ticket of a find. From the start Jac was great with communication. Plenty of parking space. Apartment was immaculate and dressed with plenty of character. Flagstaff town centre was minutes walk away, plus very easy to access Grand Canyon without needing to navigate through the town. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Jac to assist with. Thanks for a great stay, and we have already recommended your wonderful home to others

Cozy, quaint, clean and beautiful apartment in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Jac, the owner, is a great communicator and upon checkin was there to show us around and make sure we had what we needed. Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and dishes, bathroom(beautifully updated) had accessories, and linens/towels were new and cozy. We enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely delightful place. A real "oasis" of greenery and nature, so pleasant to relax in. Jaq (Host) was wonderful. Kind and friendly, yet not intrusive. Loved the personal, funky ambience of the apartment, and its location in downtown was perfect for walking. Would definitely stay there again for any future visit to Flagstaff. Well done!!

We found the quaint 1930’s esthetic and beautiful gardens to be charming. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping in the historic downtown area. Most places are in walking distance which saved us the hastle of finding and paying for parking. The unit is also a few shot blocks from Thourpe park with it’s extensive trail network. The host couldn't have been more accommodating. The stairwell might not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Short, but Sweet

My husband and I only stayed a couple of nights but we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very nice and quiet with beautiful touches of antique furniture. The neighborhood was quiet and the garden beautiful. It was convenient and close to downtown. Jac was very friendly and hospitality.

Fantastic!

What a great place for a couple to stay in Flagstaff. Right in the downtown area. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot! The host was always responsive and always helpful. I highly recommend this very nice carriage house apartment!

Charming, downtown lication

Jac’s apt is cozy and comfortable. The modernized bathroom is excellent. We cooked dinner two nights in the kitchen which was not modernized, and the lack of height over the counters due to the low cabinets was the only challenge since there was not much working space. Otherwise we enjoyed the space and loved the quiet proximity to downtown.

Relax and recharge!

Fabulous stay while in Flagstaff…Jac was extremely communicative, thorough upon check-in; we were about mid-journey on our road trip from MN to the Grand Canyon, and this property was so inviting and relaxing, and the weather was chilly, so we took advantage and hunkered down for the night! Lots of space and the full kitchen is awesome! Even though we didn’t venture out, the property is very close to anything and everything in downtown Flag, you’re just a short walk from restaurants and shopping excursions, and short drives to what Flag has to offer in terms of hiking trails, scenic drives, etc. I used to live in AZ, so to come back as a “tourist”, this was a great place to feel back at home.

My name is John, but I go by Jac. I grew up in Upstate New York, but I've lived and worked in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona for over 40 years. I’m retire from my job in Astrogeology for the U.S Geological Survey (solar system research and mapping). It was a great career in a great place. I have four grown children, all boys. They are the center of my world! I love outdoor sports, adventure, and travelling to meet new people and see new places. I hope my road takes me to you, or yours takes you to me! Cheers!

The neighborhood is the old residential west side part of Flagstaff. However, it's also right on the edge of the downtown district and in easy walking distance to everything the city has to offer. City Hall, Wheeler Park, and the public library are just one block away; Northern Arizona University is seven blocks to the south; Flagstaff High School is two blocks north; and Lowell Observatory, Thorpe Park, the local softball fields, and one of Flagstaff's famous disc golf courses are just six blocks to the west. In addition, Basha's grocery store is six blocks up Humphreys Street. This is a classic property in a classic location!
