Place was clean, AC was turned on and nice and cool when we came in, all linens fresh and clean - shower was great, has a magnetic- attaching wand which we all loved - nice big table to eat at, fire pit, big grill to make our burgers
Everything as described
This was the perfect house for my short stay. Extremely convenient to the town of Cranberry Lake where I was visiting with family. The house is easy to access, was very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. Host was very helpful and super responsive.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We spent the weekend with our young kids hiking mountains around Tupper and Cranberry Lakes. The kids had a great time playing around the yard when we were back at the house. The house was cozy and comfortable and had lots of options for sleeping. We'd definitely come back.
Clean and comfortable spot to explore Tupper Lake from
Cabin was clean, warm, and comfy. Kitchen was stocked with needed items. Easy parking, easy check in, quiet at night. Extra nice to have access to a washer and dryer when traveling with a toddler. While the cabin is not child-proofed we found it furnished in such a way that it was not difficult to keep both child and cabin safe. Bring a few door-knob covers and cabinet locks if your child is a more persistent explorer.
Property was exactly as stated. The host communicated well in advance and was responsive. There was no issue getting into the house, and instructions were clear. The only minor thing I would say is the house was musty upon first arrival, but it was fine after we opened all the windows. Plus there was some kind of tab preventing the front porch lights from being turned off, so returning in the evening was a battle with the moths and june bugs while getting into the home - it is a country remote setting, so we understood that lights on provided security to the property.
Well stocked kitchen, clean house, lots of videos and games. Host was pleasant and communicative. I would recommend and plan to use the premises in the future.
We had a wonderful time visiting! The house was cozy, beds comfortable and backyard had plenty of space to keep kids running around and playing soccer for hours. We cooked all our meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was a delight to work with, very responsive, helpful and informative. We look forward to visiting again.
Great location with accurate accommodations as lisred.
Perfect rental for my aging fishing friends who needed to stay out of the weather. The location is great. Accurate description of rental. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
Excellent! Will rent again next year. Love the location as a launching pad for hiking and hunting.

We were very happy with our stay. Anything we could have needed was provided, including some board games and older movies for any rainy days. The grill had a full propane tank and was clean and ready to use as well. If we return to Tupper Lake region we will definitely be looking to stay there again.
House was as stated on web site very clean instructions posted very well everything was in home just as if were your own.
Washer & Dryer worked very well. 2 things which were of some concern were gas grill did not work burners seemed to be cracked, grass and weeds around property needed to be cleaned up , otherwise we would recommend for future stay .
The property was very clean and exactly as described in the listing….Would definitely stay there again….

About the host

Owned by a group of snowmobilers from the Buffalo area.
Why they chose this property
My dad bought the place a few years ago to fish the Adirondacks and also to use as a snowmobile camp. He went to ranger school up here and loved the place like no other. He is no longer with us but the cousins and I have taken over and are renting it out a few times a season to help us with the costs of the loan and maintenance.
What makes this property unique
A nice sized yard that can fit a lot of vehicles. Really close to snowmobile trail head at the Thirsty Moose. A couple of folks can stay here together, room to cook and hang out after a long days ride or a day on the lake.
