The nest!!

Your year round base-camp for activities, events, or just relaxing in the Adirondacks. This stylish brand new one-bedroom apartment is perfect for group trips or if the two of you want to get away by yourselves, also featuring a queen size bed with a Dreamcloud mattress in the private bedroom with a TV, plus two sofa beds and a couch to accommodate more in your group if others are joining you. The apartment is above the garage which is separate from the house.
The space
Make yourself at home in front of the 65-inch TV connected to DIRECTV, Roku, Netflix, and other apps already loaded. Brand new full size appliances with pots and pans to support all your cooking needs in the full kitchen, including ample refrigerator and frozen storage for your groceries and other goodies.

Little Wolf Public beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Across the street there’s the Rail-Trail system which is great for hiking, biking and riding snowmobiles. The Rail-Trail also serves as the path for the historical railroad that is slated to be resurrected and brought back into service sometime this year. Raquette River Brewery, P2’s, a Pizzeria, along with other pubs and restaurants are also in walking distance. . . or all less than a 5 minute drive. In colder months you can ride your snowmobile right up to the door from anywhere that’s accessible to the New York State Snowmobile Association system of trails, as trail C7 conveniently passes right by just across the street.

Unwind at night in front of the 65 inch TV with adjustable mood lighting throughout or augment the stovetop and oven cooking your favorite foods or using the outdoor grill, of which you will have exclusive access, and for guests staying one week or longer, use of our washer and dryer so you don’t have to travel with as many clothes, or so you arrive at your next leg of your vacation with clean clothes.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Nest. It was perfect for our visit to the Wild Center. Only 3 miles away. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Kevin greeted us when we arrived and was on hand to answer any question we had about the area or the accommodations. His location is perfect for hiking or biking. It is a short walk to the Rail Trail. We had our dog with us and there were lots of walking areas for him. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Tupper Lake area. Thanks to Kevin for his friendly hospitality!

The Nest was a great place for our first-ever visit to the Adirondacks. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, which is big for us as we cook/bring all our food. Kevin was extremely nice & helpful, even letting us use space in his garage for our kayaks.The location was great, close to lots of things (The Wild Center where we visited the trolls, some beautiful kayak put-ins, hiking, and some downtown areas with coffee, groceries, and stores - it’s also close to the rail trail & railroad which we didn’t get to this visit).Would stay again!

The Nest was a perfect place to rest up after a hard day of hiking. The hummingbirds on the balcony were delightful. Kevin was a great host and very responsive. I enjoyed my stay and hope to be back again soon!

Excellent stay with an excellent host. We needed some place for three of us to crash for one night during a bike trip, and Kevin’s apartment far exceeded our needs, with the hot tub being a bonus!

The nest is located in a quiet neighborhood in Tupper Lake but not far from the Raquette River Brewery and train depot. The Wild center is about 5-10 min away. Wolf Pond is a 5 min walk and is great for swimming, paddleboarding etc. The property is very clean and comfortable. It has an upper deck seating area with a gas grill. Inside the tastefully decorated living space has a large flat screen TV, large comfortable couch, pullout bed and separate bed room. All cooking items one would need are also present. Kevin is a great host and quick to address and answer any questions. We plan to be stay here again in the future.

Host was amazing! The Nest is comfortable and accommodating. Bed and pillows were just incredible. The location is perfect, we were there for The Wild Center/Trolls, but local places to eat were close and delicious, we shot off to Saranac Lake for a few hours and it was incredible! Great weekend! Loved this place, will certainly keep it in mind for future adventures!

Great stay! Kevin was easy to communicate with, and he was available when we arrived to help us check in and also checked on us during our stay to make sure all was well. It was a great space to spread out and relax after a day out and about. We enjoyed the big comfy couch for watching movies as well as the front porch for drinking coffee in the mornings while watching the hummingbirds. We appreciated the air conditioning and the fans which kept the place cool when it was warm outside. Definitely would recommend!

Kevin was great. He met us upon arrival and saw us off when we left. The property was clean and as described, with wonderful little perks like the "mood lighting" which we used more often than not, board games in every nook, and the family loved the giant couch. We didn't run the air conditioning, but the apartment gets a nice little cross breeze with the windows open. Would recommend, would stay again.

Kevin was a gracious host and gave us good check in directions and we were able to check in without issue. It’s a pet friendly location so our dog was with us and although we only stayed one night, we would come back and stay again!

Perfect location, easy check in and check out, friendly host with great communication. Small above garage apartment that comfortably fit our family of five and our boxer dog. Bedding was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a long weekend in the ADK. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway!

The property was perfect for us (mom, dad, 13 yr old). It was more spacious than I expected and had everything you could possibly need (including board games). Very clean and the bed and couch were super comfy. We would absolutely stay here again.
