This was our second year spending a few days at the Cottage, and we plan to come back next year! So many lovely walks nearby and Eleanor is an excellent host! We had a wonderful time and look forward to future explorations in the area.

The home is exactly as portrayed, quiet, cozy & eclectic. We could hear the ocean on the multiple decks out back, the neighborhood is quiet. Quick walk to the beach, short drives to many various activities close by & easy commute into Boston & Salem. Our host Eleanor is welcoming, great communication & pleasure to work with.

My three sisters spent five nights here and it was absolutely delightful. Very comfortable and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Walk to beach was close. Home well stocked with everything necessary for day to day living. Rooftop deck was a favorite. We would definitely be interested in returning again. Mad Marthas just a few steps away and our food was amazing. Great place for a getaway.

Our young daughter yelled "bye house, we love you" as we were leaving if that gives an indication of how much we loved our stay. It was simply an incredible visit with amazing views from what our daughter referred to as the 'top room', which was to upstairs outdoor space. The house was clean, comfortable, and communication was great. It's also not far from the main stretch of Newburyport.

Lovely and comfortable home! The host has truly maximized this space and made it a beautiful seaside escape. Lots of nooks and crannies inside and out to enjoy your time away. Very clean and very responsive. So close to the beach and delicious breakfast around the corner at Mad Martha's, or coffee at Lucy's. Just down the street from Sunset and a quick drive to downtown Newburyport. Highly recommend and hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house. The home itself was spotless, charming, and just a short walk from the beach — truly the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. One of the unexpected delights was the great collection of books; my family and I loved having so many good reads to choose from during our downtime.Our host was exceptional — incredibly responsive and very accommodating when we needed to adjust our schedule. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

We all enjoyed our stay at the Plum Island Cottage. The view from the second level was beautiful, the host provided us everything we needed, and the stay (despite the rain) was pleasant and relaxing.Would happily recommend this place!

Beautiful house, very clean, well and stylishly equipped house. We loved our stay and will try and find an excuse to come back for longer. We have stayed in houses across New England and this is the nicest

Great beach cottage

This place was amazing!!! Relaxing, quiet, eay beach access and you can see the ocean from the master bedroom. Would definitely like to stau there again in the future

We had a terrific stay at Eleanor's cottage—excellent communication, spotlessly clean, well-equipped kitchen, lots of other amenities, comfy beds, and sheets. The artwork was fantastic.It was also great to be so close to Parker River Wildlife Refuge and Mad Martha's Cafe. For folks who want a leisurely exit, we recommend allowing sufficient planning for the towels to be washed, dried, and folded by check-out time. Highly recommend and we hope to return!

The cottage is absolutely charming! Woke up every morning with a stunning view of the ocean. Everything was exactly as described. The cottage was super clean. The host was easy to communicate with and checked in regularly to make sure our stay was perfect. This sweet cottage on Plum Island is the ideal place to stay if you are looking to relax and unwind.

Comfortable and Quintessential Seaside Cottage

We had such a lovely time at the cottage! We loved the neighborhood, closeness to the beach, comfort of the home, useful kitchen, private bathrooms, beautiful location and everything else it offers. Not one to be missed!
