Perfect Fall Weekend Getaway! This is our favorite VRBO, we’ve stayed here about 8 times and each time we leave we always talk about our next trip back! We love how centrally located the cabin is to so many places we can explore, but also love just love staying at the house. There is nothing better then getting up early and watching the sunrise with a cup of hot coffee! The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, with almost anything you’d need, there are some board games, a smart TV, the beds are always freshly made with clean linens and there are clean towels laid out. There is nothing better then unlocking the door and walking in the house, you’re greeted with not only the the most amazing views but also the house is freshly cleaned and ready for you to enjoy! Lee is an amazing host! Easy to communicate with and highly responsive to your questions.

Very well appointed home with a rustic feel. Really adds to the stunning 180 degree view the property offers. We found the house very clean and comfortable. Lee’s suggestions of restaurants and grocery stores did not disappoint.

Love this mountain chalet!! This is the 8th time we’ve rebooked… and are definitely planning our next trip here! The views are spectacular… love the house! Everything is clean when you arrive and the house is nicely equipped with the needed necessities! The downstairs bathroom was just remodeled and it definitely gives luxury spa vibes! We love how the house is just perfectly centered for the places we like to visit! This time we explored the ice caves at Minnewaska State Park, highly recommend!! And then we hiked to see Katterskill Falls, another beautiful place to visit! We also enjoyed a day at the house, having lunch on the porch with the spectacular views and playing some board games that are in the house! The daily visits from deer is just fun to watch and we even had visits from some beautiful horses off in the distance! But my favorite part is getting up early with a fresh cup of coffee and watching the sunrise, never gets old!Lee is amazing to work with! Very responsive to messages and accommodating!

Pros: beautiful views, close to skiing and town, good communication, nice new kitchen and downstairs bathroom, perfect for one family! Cons: the old red carpets in the rooms were kinda gross. Overall- good stay!!

Great vacation house in the Catskills

This house in Fleischmanns was the perfect choice for my family as we introduced our grandsons to skiing at Belleayre. Lee was a very responsive host and addressed all our questions quickly. I highly recommend this house!

Ski weekend

Perfect place for a comfy ski weekend. Kitchen was well equipped for us to make breakfast and dinner. We went to plattekill mountain for skiing 2 days and it was an easy 20 minute drive. 2 adults went to Belleayre also which was a quick drive away. Nice to have washer, dryer, and two separate living spaces were nice with the kids so they had space to hang out.

New Years Eve 2025

What a View! Our second time here.. we will be back, already looking forward to it! We both had an amazing time, love this house and view. Star Gazing is a Must! From the deck areas, there is a huge view of the sky & mountains, LOOK UP!!! If you love backroad country driving like we do... go for that ride through and over the mountains. The people up here are very nice & the local joints are very quaint & nostalgic. If you’re looking for Peace & Quiet… this is the place! Happy we found this house!The owner was very accommodating and extremely easy to communicate with… we’ll be back!Thanks Lee! Sean & Michelle

Lovely house, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the mountain chalet. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay including powerful wifi. Communication was also great and we received many good tips on how to get there and where to eat and shop during our stay before our arrival. We will not hesitate to return in the summer.

Thanksgiving getaway

The property location was beautiful and all prior reviews were spot on. The views were all that and more. Waking up to the sunrise peeking over the mountains was majestic and peaceful. We were incredibly lucky to experience a snowstorm and woke up to 6” on Thxgiving morning. It was just perfect. We had a fire and made a snowman. My dog had a great time in the snow. We all cooked an amazing Thxgiving dinner together in the well equipped kitchen that even had a turkey baster (impressed). It was a great trip and just what the Dr. ordered this year!! Lee was amazing and very responsive and helpful with last minute issues.

Fall Weekend Fun

Another fabulous stay at our favorite VRBO! This mountain chalet never disappoints whether it’s just my husband and me staying for a weekend or when we bring our kids and pups for an extended stay! We love the location, centrally located for hiking trails, shopping antiques, restaurants, and so much more! Highly recommend a stay! The chalet is beautiful and has everything you need! The kitchen is equipped with all essentials, is always neat and clean, beds are freshly made and there are plenty of clean towels. There are board games, books, smart TV for you to enjoy with family and friends! But our very favorite is the view… watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee and then the sunset with a glass of wine!💕

Gorgeous mountain views

This property exceeded our hopes for a quiet, restful location to enjoy the outdoors. The views are stunning, perfect for watching the sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. This is an excellent location for star-gazing with very low light pollution, and a nice wide open space for kids to run around and be active in the yard. It was a wonderful experience for our family.

Views do not disappoint

We stayed the weekend for a friends wedding at nearby Spillian and had a very nice time. Views of fall foliage were incredible, and the wood stove was cozy for an evening fire. The main space is great for a group hang out/game night by the fire. Kitchen was good and well stocked with utensils and tools etc. The rest of the spaces are ok/serviceable for a wedding weekend where not much time is spend at the house. Lee is great and very responsive, and check in/out was super easy.
