This beautiful beachfront condo was completely renovated for the 2018 season! It is located in La Palapa condominiums on the beach in one of the Zona Romantica's most iconic buildings. It has guaranteed unobstructed south facing views of Banderas Bay! Pool deck on 8 renovated summer 2023.

All new amenities including air conditioning and ceiling fans in the sleeping area and main room to guarantee your comfort. You can watch the sunsets and the whales (in season) from your sixth floor, large, beachfront balcony that comfortably seats four. The panorama of the beach, ocean, and mountains are all in your view with plenty of tropical breezes. It has absolutely one of the best ocean views in town.

The building has a beautiful rooftop pool and gazebo on the 8th floor and the iconic La Palapa Restaurant on the beach level. Within two blocks of this perfect location are everything you need for your vacation: restaurants, bars, ATMs, currency exchange, rental cars, taxi stands, spas, shops, coffee shops, farmacias, internet, juice bars, grocery stores, and more. No car is needed as you can walk to virtually everything and the taxi stand is about 50 feet from the door. There is maid service six days per week (excluding Sundays and Mexican Holidays) and the front desk is manned 24/7 for your safety and convenience.

The condo has all the extras and was completely renovated, with an eye for detail, including local fabrics, new rugs, original art, Bose SoundLink bluetooth sound system, beach towels for your use, soap, hair dryer, cable Smart TV flat screen with Netflix and english language stations and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi internet. Everything is new: Sheets, towels, living and bedroom furniture.

There is a large airy living area with a dining bar, sitting area with sofa and chair, and a dresser for your convenience, and a floor to ceiling window wall with the awesome view of the beach and Banderas Bay. The balcony has a table that seats four - the perfect place to enjoy the PVR sunset. The sleeping area adjacent to the living area has a brand new king size bed with a floor to ceiling curtain to insure your privacy. But please note - this is a studio condo, the sleeping area is adjacent but is not a separate room from the living area. But - we've taken great care to make it as comfortable as possible for a romantic holiday!

The bathroom has been gutted and completely renovated with marble and travertine finishes. There is a purified water system for drinking water in the kitchen so there is no need for bottled water. The kitchen has new appliances but we've taken care to leave enough local touches so you know your on a Mexican vacation. We also have a notebook for you to leave with your own recommendations for the future. To maintain this high quality, pets and children under 15 are not allowed, and smoking is only allowed on the balcony. A maximum of two people can rent the unit- - no exceptions.

We also own the two bedroom unit down the hall at 602 - VRBO listing 997616. You can see we used the same care to renovate 605 and we can bundle the two properties (based on availability) if you need larger accommodations.

This was a fantastic experience! Adorable condo with every amenity you could ever need! I couldn’t ask for a better location with the easiest access. The rooftop pool was amazing and the views were the best I’ve had in PV! Can’t say enough about our host Jeff. Kind and accommodating is an understatement! Jeff went above and beyond to help us with our stay, even when we had delays and issues with our arrival! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else!

I have been to Puerta Vallarta numerous times. If you want a great location, beautiful accommodations and beautiful sunsets this is the place. Close to everything with a great beach right below. The condo was veryclean, nicely decorated and had all the amenities you could need! Eric the owner was quick to respond and has available all the instructions, information and recommendations. This place is not one you want to pass on. It’s our favorite part of PV if you’re a first time visitor. We would highly recommend this condo at La Palapa!

Love to stay at this studio when visiting Vallarta by myself. When my husband and friends come we also rent a two bedroom condo at La Palapa. The unit is very well appointed and great for people watching. Perfect location in the Romantic Zone!

Great location!

This unit is located directly on the beach, giving you great views and the ability to hear the ocean as you fall asleep. There can be excessive noise outside, as others likely mentioned, but was a trade off I was willing to make in order to be in the beach and within walking distance to tons of bars, restaurants, etc. Check in was super easy and staff at the condos were very friendly.

Have rented by myself several times in the past and the studio is wonderfully appointment and the layout is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Love the beach and street views and all the vitality. You do get all the urban noises also. Roof top pool great for relaxing and swimming laps.

Condo 605 is a great condo for 1,2 or maybe three people. I enjoyed my stay and would happily rent the same unit again. The owner supplied very detailed information on the condo, the La Palapa condominium building in general and area attractions. He also has a great selection of media content available to watch on the television. The maid, Isabella is a wonderful lady and very helpful.

Great location with beach view and ocean breeze

Can't beat the location next to the beach and easy walking to all the places we like to go. The view looks over Los Muertos Beach, the ocean, and neighborhoods to the south. There was a fantastic ocean breeze through the unit every afternoon, and you can hear the waves crashing throughout the day. The building is charming and well-maintained. The rooftop pool area is updated and super clean; perfect for relaxing on non-beach days. Everyone we met was friendly and there seems to be a good community of regular residents. The unit itself was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed and the bed was quite comfortable. It's in a lively area, and street noise started early every day - but thankfully the restaurant and bar sounds dropped at a reasonable hour every night for peaceful sleep.

The condo is very well located, decorated with taste and nicely renovated. The view is amazing, you can see the mountains and the sea at the same time. The kitchen is all equipped and very clean . We loved everything about this condo! Everything you needed was provided for us. Clear instructions about how things worked. It was very comfortable and homey. The roof top pool was great. Access to the beach was amazing. The location was so convenient. On our last day, we packed up and had a everything ready to go. My husband went back into the suite and took pictures of everything. It was like he wanted to spend every last moment he could in the suite. Neither of us wanted to leave! We will definitely come back to stay again. We actually would consider buying a condo in the building.

Great location. Nice unit. A lot of construction in the building. My only complaint is there should be lounge chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. There’s a table and four chairs that weren’t comfortable. I would recommend for a single or a couple. There was an issue about an iron. Totally my fault for not reading instructions. However, owner called me and it was cleared up immediately. Very responsive.

A mixed bag

My recent stay in Eric's studio was a real mixed bag. The unit itself is well-designed and comfortable. The kitchen is the best-equipped I've ever encountered in PV. (Could use some wine glasses.) The newly renovated bathroom is beautiful. I have stayed in La Palapa several times in the past, always in a direct beachfront unit. So while I understood this is on the south side of the building and the beach and water views would be limited, I was unprepared for the incessant traffic and club noise from the side street and intersection below the terrace. The only time I could hear the surf was very early morning before all the street noise started. And sadly, the spectacular PV sunsets can't be seen from the unit. The real problem with my stay was that upon arrival, I found a note from Eric saying the catch on the sliding glass door to the terrace needed a replacement part and that the repair was scheduled for my (6th) day in the unit (it never happened). In reality, the entire lock mechanism came out of the glass door, making the door impossible to close and lock. For a single woman travelling alone, this was a real problem. Emails back and forth with Eric didn't provide any additional help, and his somewhat cavalier tone ("don't worry, no one will do a Spiderman and get to the terrace") was misplaced. 5 years ago, staying in a similar high-quality condo building, my unit was robbed in exactly that manner ... the thief scaling up the terraces to gain entry in the middle of the night. I have always had excellent rentals through VRBO, but I have to say this unit owner fell down badly; first by knowingly providing an insecure environment and second by taking no immediate action to rectify that problem.

Mark and I are from Dallas TX and looked for a vacation home not far away. Puerto Vallarta is a two hour flight from DFW or 3 hour trip on Southwest with a stop in Houston. We absolutely love Puerto Vallarta. The people are so friendly (and happy) and not speaking Spanish is not a problem. The locals love having tourists there and it is safe and secure. We've traveled the world but Puerto Vallarta is now one of our favorite places!

We purchased #602 in 2015. It is a two bedroom (VRBO 997616) and jumped at the opportunity to purchase the this studio down the hall when it came on the market.

We know you will love staying here as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

La Palapa is right on the beach and guaranteed to never have an unobstructed view. The staff is awesome and already at your service. The location can't be beat - all of PVR is outside your doorstep. There are only 7 units per floor surrounding and open air atrium. It's a quiet and relaxing destination for your vacation.

What makes this property unique

Newly and completed renovated - everything down to the silverware is new! Sheets - towels - furniture - - all first rate. Eric works in the hospitality industry and seems to have thought of everything. There's even a guest information book with all you need to know for your visit. The front staff is manned 24/7 and access to the building is closely monitored.

We get high marks from our guests for the attention to detail. There are power strips that include USB outlets on each nights stand. There's a lighted makeup mirror and the lighting has been thoughtfully laid out in each room.
You will have absolutely no regrets deciding to stay with us!
