Exceeded our expectations

The flat was just like in the pictures, very cozy, and had lots of space. The location is superb with different grocery shops and cafes nearby. Oxford street and Hyde park are just a stone throw away. The host is very caring, and always in touch if needed. Thank you very much!

We recently stayed at this 4-bedroom, 4-bath apartment in the Marble Arch area. The location was excellent, safe, convenient, and perfect for exploring London. The shared living spaces were spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.However, for the price, the apartment did not meet our expectations. Several lights and electrical outlets were not working, making it difficult to charge devices. The TV was also unusable due to no antenna signal.The biggest disappointment was the condition of the bathrooms. One bedroom/bathroom had extensive water damage on the walls and ceiling that appeared to include mold. The sink only produced scalding hot water, making it unusable. In another bathroom, the shower drain was completely clogged, causing water to back up and creating a sewer-like odor. The shower doors were difficult to use, leaked, and the waterproof seals were peeling away.I contacted the host immediately. I was initially told a plumber would come that day, but no one arrived. After following up multiple times, someone came the day before checkout and poured drain cleaner into the shower, but the issue was never fixed. As a result, one shower and one sink were unusable for our entire stay, despite the listing advertising four full bathrooms. No reimbursement or meaningful resolution was offered.This property has great potential because the location is outstanding, but it needs significant plumbing repairs and general maintenance to justify the price

Good location, mediocre amenities

If you are looking for a place with a great location where you can sleep and shower, this is your place. There are four en suite bedrooms plus a half bath. But if you are looking for a place to hang out with family and friends and cook up some good meals, this won't do. There are no comfortable places to sit and no games. There are dishes and pans in the kitchen, but no coffee maker (the built in one doesn't work) and nothing in the way of spices, oils, or any other basic kitchen things. There is not even an extra blanket. This is a bare bones place.

Well located property

The positives are the property is well located, has a large kitchen, and numerous bathrooms/bedrooms. It is very close to the Marble Arch tube station and numerous bus routes. The kitchen is large with a large fridge. There were numerous bathrooms, which was good for a family. The negatives were that the air condition was not operable and some of the furniture was not comfortable. We happened to stay during a hot period in June. The air condtioning did not work. We asked the property manager about it and they simply said there was one, when we asked how to opertate it it was left unanswered. The livingroom furniture, while looking nice in pictures was not comfortable to sit on. The beds were a mix, some comfortable, some not.
