Our kitchen is well stocked and has modern appliances. It's a great house for multiple families to share. It's not just convenient to town, it's in town; walk to everything. Leave up to 5 cars in our driveway.
* Convenient access to Whiteface Ski Area, High Peaks Wilderness, Great fishing and world class golf. It's a 5 minute walk to Iron Man transition area and on the bike course.
* Driveway parking for up to 5 vehicles
* 5 bedrooms Sleeps up to 10 people; four queen beds and a cozy double

* Full bath with tub and shower and two additional baths with showers - towels Included

Amazing perfect location to stay on Lake Placid

This house is stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, and incredibly quiet. It’s in a perfect location, just a short and easy walk to Main Street and the Olympic Center. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended it by an extra day! The owners were beyond accommodating and made the whole experience seamless. Two families who enjoy the outdoors and still, after16 years of co-ownership, love each other. Our house is a great base for outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, cycling, running, lake swimming, skiing (dh & xc) snowshoeing, climbing (out of bed), fishing, shopping, golf .... all nearby. Collectively, we've traveled the US and abroad but we do the 6+ hour drive to the Adirondacks routinely and have been doing so for over 30 years. For us, there's no other place like it.

Why they chose this property

Initially, it was location, location, location, price and potential for a great place to bring family, friends and guests. Today, it's still about location but it's potential has been realized. Our ratings, all 90 plus as of this writing, speak for themselves.

What makes this property unique

It's not just convenient to town, it's in town. Lake Placid Village center is a 5 minute walk. It's comfortable and roomy without being cavernous. Priced to be an amazing deal for multiple families. Like to cook? You'll love our kitchen. Park your car, your sister's, brother's and mothers cars (5) and forget about them. Did I mention bowling (never been).....right up and around the corner. Foodie restaurants and great drinks in rolling/walking distance. And then there's something else seldom mentioned by other owners: we have the very best property manager in Lake Placid; seldom seen but there if you ever need him.
