Karen's place is thoughtfully equipped, comfortable and surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. Family members aged two through 73 loved being there. It's close to hiking trails, swimming spots and a great playground. Stars were dazzling whenever we had a clear night. We are repeat customers and have always been delighted with our stays.

Delightful cottage with a lot of history. Very beautiful property especially with the light snowfall we experienced. Our hosts were always available to assist us with our needs. My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot for family getaway

The setting was stunning and we loved the open spaces, outdoor activity equipment offered and fire circle. House is very cozy with great deck. We would love to make it back someday.

Great Mountain View’s, very quiet and private.

The Maples is clean and has all that you need for a comfortable stay. The Mountain View’s in 3 directions from the living room are outstanding!

Great Home Base for Mountain Fun

Annual holiday trip with the family, great location was very convenient to the Whiteface area, Vermont ferry terminal, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake and all the amazing shops and restaurants in the area. Lots of time spent exploring the trails on the property and enjoying the snow with the kiddos in the back yard.

Fabulous Leaf Peeping Basecamp

Last minute trip to ADK’s and our favorite area. The Maples was a great place to stay with our friends for the weekend. Everything we needed.

Thanks Diane for letting us know. We have had Nature's Way Pest Control (we try not to be too toxic with sprays) out there for 2 regularly scheduled visits this fall and 2 extra visits this October, including one right before your stay and before the stay by other guests the prior weekend. We are being as vigilant as we can. Our cleaning lady also goes over multiple times a week to vacuum. They are particularly bad this fall and should be taken care of and gone for winter ski guests! We are trying the best we can! We have handy plug in blue light traps and light weight vacuum. They are mainly in corner of living room at the warm side of the house. Thanks again for your stay and info!
