From the quietly located houseboat you can make all kinds of trips: beach, forest, dunes, the Cheese Market in Alkmaar, the bulb fields, Haarlem and Amsterdam, it is all close by.


Holiday home layout

On the ground floor you will find the cozy living room with the small open kitchen, dining table and seating area. From the living room you can step onto the first terrace from which you have a great view over the water.
The first sleeping area has two box springs. The second sleeping area has a single bed with a single trundle bed. The bathroom with toilet, sink and shower is also on the ground floor. From the roof terrace you have a beautiful panoramic view of the harbor and the lake.

 Environment

The house is located on the Uitgeest marina. This offers countless possibilities. The lake is perfect for water sports enthusiasts. Do you want to bring your own boat? No problem, you can rent a berth. It is also possible to rent a boat, sub or sailboat. It is a good place for fishermen to cast your fishing line, you will find jetties everywhere. In the immediate vicinity there are several good restaurants that you can reach on foot.

The beach of Castricum aan Zee is just half an hour by bike. You will find various nature reserves along the coast. Walking or cycling through the dunes of Heemskerk or Castricum, you can enjoy the flowering dune plants and singing birds in the spring. In autumn you will discover the beautiful colors of the trees and mushrooms. Due to its varied landscapes, the Bakkum estate is definitely recommended for a walk, cycle or run.

If you prefer the hustle and bustle, Alkmaar, the charming artists' village of Bergen and Haarlem are reachable within 20 minutes by car.
