Casa flotante moderna pero acogedora

Mi casa flotante es un lugar encantador, tranquilo y confortable para alojarse en Amsterdam, cerca del Teatro Carré, el Hermitage, el Hortus Botanicus, el Zoológico Artis y muchos otros lugares turísticos famosos y, por último, pero no menos importante, el río Amstel. ¡Disfruta Amsterdam desde dentro!

La casa flotante le ofrece un dormitorio de buen gusto, un baño moderno, una cocina de lujo y una sala de estar cálida y cómoda con una hermosa vista al canal. Disfrute de la vista y el ambiente tranquilo desde detrás de las amplias ventanas o desde la terraza.

Mi lugar es una casa flotante muy estable, sólida y bien mantenida. Me gusta compartir mi bote con huéspedes de todo el mundo, porque es una forma de vida tan típica y única de Ámsterdam.

Nuevo en esta plataforma, por lo que aún no hay reseñas. Sin embargo, ¡soy un superhost en otras plataformas! ;-) Espero darle la bienvenida como invitados!

Comfortable and Clean Apartment with Friendly Landlord

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and the landlord was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Albert was friendly and communicative. Had a washer and dryer. Plenty of heat even though it was very cold outside when we booked this houseboat. I actually woke up in the middle of the night too hot and had to turn it down. Close to Rembrandt District and to many other places within 5-30 min walking. Heated bathroom floors were a plus. It is a smaller bathroom so if you are a larger person you may struggle to get in and out. Great terrace sitting area with some boat/rowboat traffic coming through. It was nice to see some traffic on the water but it wasn’t overwhelming. There is construction up above but you could not hear it or see it from the houseboat. Came with a family of four and our 9 and 12 year old were able to share the pullout sofa couch comfortably. However, Albert had provided an additional cot in case we needed it. The sofa couch was very easy to drop back to a regular couch during the day. Due to construction there is a private entrance provided for a couple house boats. In a way it’s nice because it provides more security to access the houseboat. Has a fully functional kitchen. Initially a little tricky to find the entrance but instructions were good from Albert. The entrance is a great pick up location for Uber as it’s not right on a main street.

Albert is a wonderful communicator and has taken great care to pay attention to detail. The heated bathroom floors were one of our favorite details, but also the porch is a perfect slice of charm, the milk frother for the coffee is a lovely touch, the hidden tv (with Netflix), a great book of neighborhood suggestions…and the bed was very comfortable and large (which is a rare luxury in the area). We can’t wait to stay again next year.

A great experience

What a treat to stay on this houseboat on the canal. The early mornings and evenings were especially calm and peaceful. It was definitely a great way to experience Amsterdam. In addition, the host was wonderful, it’s a short walk to public transit, plenty of places to eat nearby, or you may just decide to sit on the deck and watch the world go by.

Quiet nights

Beautiful houseboat in a very quiet residential area. Still close to walk across the Amstel. Nice to see the boats on the canal passing by. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful stay.

Fall vacation in Amsterdam

Houseboat is in a wonderful location, nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. My only comment is that the heating system could use some simple directions to help guests, although it is possible that I simply didn't find them. Overall, wonderful stay! Bill

Orpheus boat stay

Albert, the host, was phenomenal from the date we booked the canal boat and all through our stay with tips and recommendations. Location allowed us to walk everywhere in Amsterdam.

Wonderful house boat - great location

The houseboat was wonderful and clean and had everything you could possibly need. It was in a great location and was a very unique way to enjoy Amsterdam. Albert was very communicative and made sure there were no issues. A great experience!

We had a great time staying at the boathouse in Amsterdam. It was set up nice and had everything you could need. Loved being on the water. The owner was amazing and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed

Can’t beat staying on a houseboat!

What a special experience for our family to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam! Easy check in, great communication with the host, beautiful house that was cozy but so well set up for a small space. Primary bedroom was very comfortable, and our girls (5 and 9) loved the pull out couch and waving to passing boats. Would 100% recommend!!

Enjoy a perfect stay in the cozy houseboat!

We spent two nights aboard the lovely houseboat, Orpheus. It was so fun! We enjoyed sitting on the little deck and raising a glass of wine to all the passing boats. It is just as pictured and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam. Everything from check-in to our last meal aboard went smoothly. It is stocked with anything you could possibly need and very clean. The notebook of information on the bookshelf was very thorough and super useful to plan our activities. Can not recommend this location and amazing host highly enough! Fabulous!

Great location and super unique!

My father and I stayed for a couple nights to end our European tour and it was lovely. Check in was a breeze and communication during the process was excellent. Short walk to public transit, museums, city center. Sitting out in the terrace with my dad watching boats go by was so enjoyable!

Great location on the canal

'We are seniors well into our 70's and 80's. Our stay in this splendid houseboat was exactly what we were hoping for. Comfortable house, convenient location, convenient public transportation, and a canal that provided daily enjoyable boat-watching. Our host was very responsive..meeting us at our arrival and answering questions during our stay.

Great Little Houseboat

Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. We would still return here next time we're in Amsterdam.

A wonderful spot!

The houseboat was in a great location for exploring all of Amsterdam. Very close to metro and tram stops to visit museums and get to other parts of city. It was quiet and peaceful on the canal and we enjoyed our stay. Albert and Anna had coffee pods for morning cuppa to get out the door and were gracious to let us drop our luggage until check-in and we started our explore of city while preparations were made. Coming off a week of biking made having a washer and dryer great! The restaurants in the area were delightful! Capital Kitchen fabulous food! A short walk to Tashi Deleg for Indonesian/Nepal fusion- wonderful! Overall just a great and interesting stay!

Would stay no where else

Albert is the best host. He greeted us when we arrived with fresh tulips and showed us how everything worked. He helped us navigate the two biggest celebrations in Amsterdam. The houseboat is clean, very modern with all of the modern conveniences.... including heated bathroom floors. We will be back again.

MAGICAL!!!!!

We cannot say enough about how FANTASTIC this property is. Perfectly located near everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood; Albert's houseboat was absolutely one of our favorite aspects of our trip. Comfortable, fully equipped, it was hard to leave it every day (one day, we didn't leave till dinnertime!) Albert's helpful guide told us everything we needed to know about local markets, where to sightsee, and how to use all the vast amenities that are included. And if we had questions, Albert was instantly responsive. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic!

Everything about the boat was as advertised! A perfect retreat after a day exploring Amsterdam, very well situated and amazing views. Albert, the host, could not have been kinder or more helpful. We hope to enjoy his hospitality again soon!
