A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
Take exit number 12 marked “Funchal Campo da Barca”.
This exit takes you into a loop passing under the road and to a T-juntion with a set of
traffic lights.
Turn left at the traffic lights, keeping to your right, and after just a few meters turn right to “Funchal Pena”
Instead of following the road down turn IMMEDIATELY LEFT and head up the hill (see blue
sign for Estalagem do Monte)
Head up this steep winding road for approximately 500 metres travelling underneath the cable car.
Take the 2nd Road on Your Left, signposted “Estrada do Livramento” follow along for 1,1km metres.
Please turn righ onto Caminho da Longueira, then on the first junction turn left and keep driving until you find number 22 on your right hand side.
You have a reserved parking space in the garage. This is a shared parking with the other villa, so please ensure you park in the allotted space and as far back as possible.
Do not under any circumstances park near or on the access to the garage or outside the gate, as will obstruct the access to the parking space of the other house.
You MUST ALWAYS REVERSE your car down the ramp into the garage as it will be easier for you when you leave.
There is no space to turn the car around in the garage. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, it is always possible to park in the street further up.
