Lovely weekend stay

Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful Shepard's hut with a spacious hot tub. Based in a lovely little village with a cosy pub round the corner, serving nice food. The hut was clean and has everything needed for a weekend's stay. Only slight issue was how short the bed was as we are both tall, but can't be helped too much with the size of the hut.

Great location but overlooked.

Location for local attractions great. Beautiful hut, well equipped in the kitchen for a weekend stay. Towels and dressing gowns provided for the hot tub. Hot tub was a very nice addition however only minimal wood provided, certainly not enough to run a hot tub and wood fire for even one evening. To get the hot tub warm enough for three nights we used 4 bags of logs (purchased ourselves) so be prepared. Luckily we had good weather so didn’t need to use the log burner. Hut is located in the owners back garden. Fenced off in its own area with trees and a garden but you are facing their property and overlooked by windows in two directions, not so private if you’re in the hot tub.

Thank you Claire for your review of The Hideaway. We are delighted that you found the property to be beautiful and in a good location. We do prewarn guests in the description that the property has only a starter supply of wood provided for the wood burning stove and hot tub. We hope you will be back to stay again soon!
