We, Jarno and Henna, are a local couple residing in Rovaniemi, just under an hour’s drive from Vanttauskoski.

Our mission is to provide a comfortable and seamless holiday experience that combines the natural beauty of Lapland with modern comforts. We ensure our guests enjoy privacy and peace throughout their stay, with assistance available if needed.


Lapland Homestead, built in 1964, features recently updated interiors that combine traditional Lapland charm with modern comforts. This cozy home is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful beauty of Lapland's nature.

The nearby village of Autti has beautiful trails, allowing you to enjoy Lapland’s nature all year round.

Size and spaces: 120 m² in one floor. When you enter the house, three bedrooms and a bathroom on the right side. To the left, there’s a spacious kitchen and living room. Behind the kitchen, you’ll find the shower and sauna.
The house comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Soft beds and clean linens ensure a restful sleep. Towels and bed linen are included in the price.

Our home offers you:
Traditional finnish sauna: The perfect place to relax.

Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and Satellite TV to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Final cleaning included: You don't need to worry about cleaning—we’ll take care of it for you.

Winter activities: Guests have access sleds and toboggans.

Location: Lapland homestead is just less than an hour drive from Rovaniemi.

No public transportation: Please note that there is no public transport to the house. The best way to reach it is by car.

Grocery store: There is one grocery store in the village, located 500m from the house.

Parking: The house has a large yard with enough space to park up to three cars.
