From the front door, guests can discover the network of cycle paths and open countryside or join the 26-mile-long route of The Marriott's Way, which caters for all ages and abilities. Nature enthusiasts will also love this trail, thanks to the number of kestrels, owls, hares and deer they're likely to spot. Explore historic sites such as Blickling Hall (8 miles) or meander the market towns of Reepham (4.5 miles) and Aylsham (6 miles) to grab a bite. The Norfolk coast (18 miles) provides visitors with some of the finest sandy shores the UK has to offer, while the Broads National Park (14 miles) melds stunning scenery with water-filled pursuits.
Step into this incredibly inviting holiday home to discover the perfect cosy blend of boutique style with period features. Drop your bags in the hallway and turn right into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you'll also find doors leading into the garden. The lounge hosts a deep, pillowy sofa and Smart TV for those snuggly evenings in, while the kitchen is well-equipped for preparing romantic dinners for two to enjoy at the nearby dining table. At bedtime, find a plush king-size bedroom to the left of the hallway. Overhead beams add to the cottage’s dreamy ambience while the windows on either side make for a gorgeous view when you're enjoying breakfast in bed. Rounding off the interior is the bathroom, where you can savour your morning showers.
Outside, the courtyard-style garden is an idyllic spot to sip your morning coffee. Couples can soak in the sunshine while admiring the surrounding gardens and specimen trees. You may even spot some fallow deer if you're lucky! Private parking is available for two cars.
