Here at Cozynook, located at Itteringham Common, you can escape the everyday hustle and bustle of life.
The perfect area if you are an explorer, bird watcher, walker, photographer, star gazer, beach lover, open water swimmer,cyclist, artist or equally just want to relax and chill.
Itteringham is a pretty village which sits on the River Bure between Holt and Aylsham, on the edge of the National Trust - Blickling Estate.
Itteringham is a conservation area and a place of outstanding natural beauty.
The locals are so friendly, it’s like stepping back in time!
Itteringham has a community run village shop selling local products.
You can also stop for a tea, coffee, cake or a light lunch, well worth a visit or 2.
There are pubs both within a short distance being the Buckinghamshire Arms and Saracens Head.

National Trust - Blickling Estate is a short walk away, down the quiet country lane and you will be within the Great Wood of Blickling, where you can follow the paths to the Jacobean mansion at Blickling.

Lovely little weekend getaway, right in the countryside for walks and wild swimming. Also a local pub just a 10 minute walk away. Hosts were lovely.

We had a lovely few days in the very clean Cozynook , small but everything you needed was there. Very dog friendly with secure outside space. Great location with easy access to National Trust woods, beaches, community shop and excellent local pubs.

We had such a lovely time the cosy Nook was perfect for us, quirky with everything we needed for an amazing mini break. Gutted we didn’t explore more of the local area but the sun was shining so we were drawn straight to the beach. Will definitely stay again x

A very quaint, compact place, cleverly laid out in a rural location. However, the loft bedroom and left/right stair configuration was daunting if you are tall or unstable, especially trying to get down, especially as you cannot stand up in the loft space, so probably not the best for our personal needs. There is a small sofa bed, but it not the most comfortable (which we used instead). Blackout blinds would have been advantageous, especially with the Velux windows. Currently one room window has no covering and one of the living room blinds was broken. It’s worth noting that dogs are not permitted upstairs, but there is no mechanism to prevent them trying to access the loft space and more worryingly a dog could do themselves serious harm if they tried. The key is knowing the benefits and limitations are of this particular property.

Wonderful little place!

Great location, so peaceful and quiet. The owners have used the space so well and there is everything there for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the cake and flowers! Location is great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cozy Nook! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and peaceful. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the little touches that made it feel like home. From the comfy bed to the thoughtful amenities. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — truly a hidden gem! We’d love to come back again soon

An idyllic, clean and peaceful space to take a step back from the noise and just breathe. Met the host who lives beside the cabin, a very friendly lady who ensure you are settled. The cabin has everything you need including cooking appliances except oven which the microwave has the features for it.

Short stay at CozyNook

Arrived on time accommodation was great very clean and had most things we needed we kind of missed our outdoor space as we have 2 small dogs and they do like to sit outside but because we couldnt have a barbecue or small and a fire wouls have been too risky but overall a very nice stay fire pit and understand why because the outside area was small and

What a gem, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to returning in the future, The accommodation was just perfect for a base camp, from where we could explore different parts of North Norfolk, and when not exploring we had somewhere to relax.

The perfect getaway

This property was amazing. Quirky, unique in everyway but had everything you could possibly need. We are already thinking of returning. Ideal location for visiting the area with lots of public footpaths to explore

Just perfect!

Beautifully converted accommodation with everything necessary. Very obliging hosts right next door to recommend pubs and nearby beauty spots, and the patio area was a perfect suntrap. Ideal as a base for exploring the stunning super-dog-friendly area. Thank you for having us.

What a cosy and welcoming find! Lovely place. It's all the little touches that make a difference. The heating on when we arrived. A bottle of prosecco and two glasses waiting along with farm, fresh milk and two homemade chocolate muffins. When we arrived back from our walk on Saturday, our host handed us eleven fresh eggs. Beautiful walks through woods and farmland. Local pubs are within walking distance, Aylsham just a short drive away and the local shop and cafe is delightful. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend CozyNook.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Cabin extremely clean and well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Stairs to sleeping area not for anyone with mobility issues but very cosy, light and comfortable. Dogs made welcome and excellent dog walks straight from the cabin. Kitchen area small but well arranged and well equipped. Sunny patio for breakfasts surrounded by butterflies bees etc atteacted by all the flowering shrubs!

A little haven of peace

Spent two nights at Cozynook. Very clean and peaceful. Shame the weather wasnt dry so we could sit on the lovely terrace. Vonnie was very friendly and mothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

Vonnie and Tim moved to Itteringham in November 2017 after visiting this special part of Norfolk. We have been walking, cycling around this beautiful area for years.

A beautiful house came up for sale and sold within a week, but we were lucky the sale fell through.
When we saw Sunnyside was back on the market .
We made the biggest decision of our lives.
We sold our family home in Nottinghamshire within a day and moved to Sunnyside together with our tree maintenance business within 6 weeks.
We wouldn't change a thing!
Now we would like to share our little bit of Paradise with you!
