La Grange du Saule is a luxury self-catering holiday rental spanning over two floors, meticulously renovated to a high standard and offering four spacious bedrooms, accommodating up to eight guests plus two infants in cots.
The pool (seasonal), terrace and garden areas are exclusively for guests, presenting stunning views of the surrounding woods and undulating farmland beyond.
Recently refurbished and equipped with modern conveniences, this characterful accommodation retains its authentic rustic charm, making it an ideal retreat for families or friends holidaying together. Everyone will find comfort and pleasure in this luxurious home, designed to make your stay memorable.
The gîte offers two king-size rooms with luxurious en-suite shower, an additional king size room and a twin room.
Two cots are available for infants under two years of age. The main family bathroom features a roll top bath and contemporary shower. One king size bedroom, located on the ground floor, has French doors opening onto the rear patio.
High quality towels and bed linen are provided, with beds prepared for your arrival.
The ground floor hosts a comfortable lounge with a log burner, ideal for the cooler months, a smart TV with multi-language channels, and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped with necessary appliances for a comfortable stay, including an electric oven & hob, dishwasher, washing machine, standalone fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee machine and microwave. Essential items like crockery, cutlery, glassware, saucepans, and ovenware are supplied, along with plastic outdoor crockery and glasses for poolside use or for younger guests.
The dining room features a large table and French doors leading to rear outdoor seating, dining, and BBQ areas. Cushions, a tablecloth, and place-mats are provided.
A selection of books, games, and children's toys are at your disposal, and a baby bundle is provided for guests with infants under two years of age and consists of cot with mattress and sheets, baby video monitor, high chair or chair booster, silicone bibs, stair gates (top & bottom), changing mat, nappy bin, potty, plastic utensils, bottle steriliser/warmer and toys.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
Regrettably, pets are not allowed on the premises.
Relaxation is central to our gîte experience, but the surrounding area is rich with history, picturesque towns and villages, featuring magnificent châteaux, bustling markets, hidden hillside caves and leisure lakes offering a variety of family activities.

There are a wide variety of places to eat nearby, ranging from pizza’s to fine dining, there is always a choice to cater for everybody's taste. Marval has two fine restaurants offering French, Asian & English cuisine, whilst within a short drive there are plenty of opportunities to savour some fantastic food in beautiful settings. Most restaurants offer a daily "Plat de Jour" at a reasonable price.
Just a two-minute walk from La Grange du Saule, you'll find yourself at the forest's edge, ready to explore a network of trails suitable for both challenging adventures and relaxing family walks, offering something for every type of explorer. Walkers and wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the unspoilt beauty, tranquil lakes, and vibrant wildlife hidden among the forest.
