Welcome to our charming cottage in Youlgrave, nestled right on the banks of the River Bradford. As passionate travellers, we've poured our hearts into creating a space where you can truly relax and unwind.

Our cottage comfortably accommodates up to four guests and features:

- Two cozy bedrooms: One with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, and another with twin beds.
- Two bathrooms: An en-suite bathroom for the double bedroom and a family bathroom.
- A cozy living room: With a fireplace, comfortable sofas, a TV, and a stereo system.
- A fully equipped kitchen: Including a dishwasher and everything you need for self-catering.

Had a great stay here in Youlgreave. The house is lovely and well equipped. Location by the river is amazing and quiet, although it is is trek up the hill to the pubs but at least it is downhill on the way home!

We found the cottage with no problem and it had everything we needed. Communication was excellent and Matt even rang us to check that everything was as we needed.We were there to visit some family who lived in the village and there was enough in the cottage so we could host them for a meal. The cottage was across from a stream in a popular area so parking became an issue at times but on the whole we could park reasonably close. The cottage is at the bottom of a steep walk to the pubs and three shops but we enjoyed the walk.Youlgreave is perfect to visit so many remarkable places within an hours drive.Thankyou for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

Lovely place by the river.

It was a lovely place to stay by the river. Walking distance to the wild swimming area which was really nice as I was left with no car. Climbing up and down the hill to the village was very pleasant as well for myself and my baby (carried by a sling).

Cosy cottage in a beautiful village

A very clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Lots of great walks from right outside the door along Bradford Dale and Lathkill Dale. Village has plentiful shops/cafes/pubs. A real gem.

Good Walking Base

We had a lovely 9 night stay in Kingfisher Cottage, it is ideally situated for walking with lots of routes from outside the front door. the cottage is comfortable and extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery, utensils etc enabling you to prepare meals, couple of good pubs in the village which serve meals. We loved the area and are planning on returning in the future.

Fantastic location and lovely cottage

We had a wonderful weekend here. The cottage is really sweet and cosy. It is incredibly clean and well equipped. We didn't use the car at all, just did walks from the house--there are lots of options. There are great rocks/boulders for kids to scramble over within a few km of the house, it's an easy walk over fields to Bakewell, and the pubs and local shop has everything you need. Matt was really helpful and communicative and getting in was dead easy. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

We’ve just got back from a lovely stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, right by the river and absolutely beautiful. It’s a really charming little place and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived.The house had a great selection of amenities, including games, books, and thoughtful staple items in the kitchen like herbs, which was a really nice touch. The kitchen itself was very well equipped.The heating worked brilliantly, the bathroom facilities were absolutely fine, the beds were comfortable, and the linen and towels were clean. The place was clean and well cared for.The host was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything very easy.Just to note for future guests: the fireplace is electric. When I read “cosy fireplace” I was expecting a real fire, but it’s electric. That said, it worked perfectly well and didn’t detract from our stay. Also, the Vrbo listing mentions a communal pool. There isn’t a pool on site. There may be local wild swimming spots, but no actual pool.Overall, a great stay in a beautiful setting and we’d happily recommend it.

Sehr schönes Cottage direkt am Fluss, in dem man planschen kann. Die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Youlgreave ist ein hübsches Örtchen mit zwei Pubs, einer Bäckerei/Café und kleinen Läden. Tolle Gegend, ideal zum Wandern.

A well furnished and equipped cottage (with outstanding artwork) right on the edge of the village fronting onto the River Bradford. Youlgreave is a nice village with some excellent facilities.
