Perfect little cottage, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen, even an airfryer. Pretty decor and lovely bedding and towels. Perfect location for great walks and the village. Great pub and a few shops in this very pretty village. Perfect few days away. Liz was very helpful and quick to respond.

Cottage was really nice and delivered what it said on the tin we couldn’t fault it Liz provided all the information needed and the directions took us straight to the door Our rating is not cottage related cottage 5* Location 4* rating was purely about distance to the local amenities pub / restaurant as it is winter had to drive would be a nice walk in the summer but not these winter nights, but don’t let it put you off and great spot for Chatsworth House and local Spar shop is in walking We had a really nice time

We found the property with ease and the on road parking is not an issue. Thd property is very snug, well appointed and clean throughout. Liz was the perfect host who kept us up to date with the check in process. Baslow is a really nice village with two excellent pubs (we ate in both) and good Italian restaurant. There are also two hotels where you can find a drink. There are a good many walks to be found and Chatsworth House is only a 20 minute stroll.

I stayed at Cosy Corner Cottage for a short break in the Peak District. The property was loveThe property is tucked away at the end of a path. Clear instructions were provided on how to access it. Whilst there's no parking directly outside, there is plenty of parking available on the road nearby. The outdoor seating is off to the side of the property in a little passageway. It's very quiet, but you may spot some of the local neighbours. There's also a handy Coop a short walk away, which is open until late (including Sunday).

Cosy cottage

Gorgeous cottage, clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of places around to visit and lots of lovely restaurants. Bakewell is a lovely town, lots of shops and eateries. Highly recommend Chatsworth house, the gardens are amazing. Had gorgeous meals at the Derbyshire arms, just a short walk from cottage and the Chakra lounge, a beautiful vegan/vegetarian Indian with gluten free options in Bakewell.

Cosy Corner Cottage is indeed a very cosy cottage. It's off the main road, so you'll park a little distance away from the front door. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very simply laid out. It's ideal for a couple looking for a quiet bolt hole in the middle of the Peak District. Baslow is a great village with plenty of pubs, grocery shopping at the local store or Co-op, and the Cavendish Hotel where you can get a 5-star meal. You're minutes away from Chatsworth and can walk there very easily from this cottage. So if it's a quiet, easy, comfortable couple's stay that you're looking for, Cosy Corner Cottage perfectly fits the bill.

A fabulous break in a fabulous area

Cosy Corner was indeed ‘cosy’ and had all the amenities necessary to make a super break. Very comfortable bed and pillows to ensure a good night’s sleep and lovely to enjoy an outside table in the sunshine. This is a great base for restaurants (loved Charlie’s) and Chatsworth. We would happily return.

I have always loved the Peak District and having lived and studied in Buxton in my younger years exploring Derbyshire with my family and friends was fantastic whether walking Kinder Scout, cycling or a picnic by a stream.
When I first walked into Hanover Buildings in Baslow a few years ago I fell in love with the petiteness and position of the cottage and decided on the name
'Cosy Corner' for my new
adventure !
I always enjoy the little subtle touches I can make during the year and hope that you will love your stay too ! 😊

If you enjoy walking 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️ ,exploring, bike riding 🚲 ,wild swimming or even caving Cosy Corner has so many options on its doorstep.

A stroll to the Chatsworth Estate,a picnic by the river,a visit to Bakewell market,the old plague village of Eyam, Haddon Hall used as a filming location for "Jane Eyre," and "Pride and Prejudice,"
Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall atmospheric Christmas markets are fabulous too!
Or
Do you prefer to relax, read and enjoy good food ? Only a few minutes walk away are a choice of fabulous restaurants and pubs offering delicious food and local beverages.
With a quiet cottage to come back to a lovely peaceful morning in bed is always an option ! 😊

Cosy Corner is part of an old chapel. It is small ,warm and peaceful.
Outside through a gate Cosy Corner has a seating area for your afternoon tea.
Walking is literally on the doorstep to Chatsworth Estate or The Edges.
A car is not necessary if you prefer to relax locally.
My priority is for you to enjoy a wonderful stay in the cottage that I love and hope you do too!
