This beautifully refurbished bungalow offers a perfect coastal retreat in Seaview, nestled in a collection of purpose-built cottages on the seafront. Designed with families in mind, it welcomes one dog, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking a peaceful, scenic escape.



Overlooking pristine communal grounds and charming stone-walled gardens, the property is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning views of the nearby nature reserve. Just moments from the coast, the bungalow provides a serene atmosphere, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural splendour of the English countryside while enjoying the tranquillity of seaside living.



LOCATION

The Edwardian resort of Seaview renowned for its annual regatta is a delightful destination for those seeking a quintessential English coastal experience. With a range of excellent dining options, including restaurants, pubs, and cafes, you'll enjoy stunning views, local seafood, and wine as you unwind by the sea. The village’s quiet beach is perfect for water sports like sailing, windsurfing, and paddling, while the yacht club adds to the vibrant summer atmosphere. You’ll find a blend of rocks and sand, ideal for taking in perfect viewpoints and enjoying the relaxing seaside ambiance. A café serving drinks and snacks further enhances the coastal experience.



ACCOMMODATION



GROUND FLOOR

Featuring a bright and airy open-plan layout, the reception room seamlessly integrates a comfortable lounge area with two sofas and a TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The space also includes a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, toaster, microwave, and fridge, offering everything you need for preparing meals.



For a restful night's sleep, the property offers two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, providing ample space for families. The family shower room, conveniently located off the inner hallway, includes a WC and hand basin, completing the functional and comfortable layout of the bungalow.



OUTSIDE

Two large private decking areas at the front and rear enhance the living space.





ADDITIONAL CHARGES



PLEASE NOTE: Guests can choose to either pay a non-refundable damage waiver of £35 or provide a pre-authorised security deposit of £150 before check-in. If the security deposit option is selected, no money will be taken unless damage is reported at the property within 7 days after departure



There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car.



This property can accept a maximum of 1 pet. The charge is £35 per pet, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own bedding for your pet. Please ensure that you correctly add your pet when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately...

The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties. There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties. Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels as necessary.

What a peaceful, wonderful location

The location! Just steps away from a quiet dog friendly beach. Overlooking a lake from a very large decking area on an evening was blissful. The Island Holiday Company staff! An issue with the kettle was quickly sorted out for us. We stayed for three weeks and fresh linen was delivered after we asked for it. I could go on . We were always met with politeness... customer service A* The cleaners and a wonderful lady who came to sort out a locked bathroom door! Everyone was so friendly and wanted to make sure that we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you, all. A washing machine, please! We would have considered coming back to the Lobster Pot but it doesn't have a washing machine and when you stay for any length of time it would have been good to have one.

Nicely decorated and comfortably furnished

Seaview is a lovely little town on the coast with long beaches and some secluded parks and coves to explore. Easy walking to Ryde along the coastal path. The Salterns cottages are simple small holiday bungalows. nicely decorated and comfortably furnished, well equipped kitchen and warm shower room. Great place to stay for a weektwo. I went at the end of the summer season so it was quiet and relaxing. Lovely wildlife reserve next to cottage with a lake. The weather was just about warm enough to sit outside. I would imagine in the high season you would be spending most of your time outside. Good place if you have a young family.

Seaview is a lovely little town with long beaches and some secluded parks and coves to explore . Easy walking to Ryde along the coastal path . The Salterns cottages are simple small holidays bungalows , nicely decorated and comfortably furnished , well equipped and warm shower room . Great place to stay for a weektwo . I went at the end of the summer seasons so it was quiet and relaxing . Lovely wildlife reserve next to the cottage with a lake . The weather was just about warm enough to sit outside on the extensive fenced decking around the cottage . I would imagine the high season you would be spending most of your time outside . Good place if you have a young family .
