Cozy log cabin in Hafjell ski in/out and sauna

Welcome to a some great days at this cozy cabin, which is located right next to the access trail at Haugaringen by Hafjelltoppen!

Put on your alpine equipment in the cabin and walk 10 meters to the trail and enjoy the day on the famous slopes of Hafjell! If you want to go cross-country skiing, there are miles of freshly groomed trails in the area. If you are in a little extra good shape, you can walk from the cabin and a bit uphill to begin with, but after a bit of pulse you will reach flatter terrain. Otherwise, you have good starting points from Gaiastova (2.6 km by car) or Pellestova (3.7 km by car).

The cabin invites you to relax and enjoy the evening after long days of activities. Light the fireplace in the living room and feel the heat coming quickly. There is also a wood stove in the kitchen if you prefer heat while cooking. In the living room/kitchen there is a dining table with room for 8 people around the table, and a sofa corner for relaxing. Smart TV 43' hangs centrally, but discreetly on the wall. In the cabin you will find 3 bedrooms, one of which is on the 1st floor with a King size bed and bathroom with sauna next to it. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a Queen size bed. The other bedroom has bunk beds with room for 4.

Hafjell also invites you to great cycling experiences in the summer, with trail cycling, downhill cycling, pump track, and on Øyerfjellet you will find miles of fine dirt roads for regular bikes, mountain bikes or electric bicycle. If you want to try fishing, we can tell you about excellent opportunities for large Trout not far from the cabin. If you want an adrenaline rush, you can try Hjul-Bob on the Bob track from the Lillehammer Olympics in 1994, or go about 8 miles further up Gudbrandsdalen where there are opportunities for rafting in the river Sjoa.

Feel free to experience the road museum and the vehicle history museum which is located close to Hunderfossen, or Maihaugen and the pedestrian street in Lillehammer. For those interested in golf, we can mention Hafjell golf, which is only 6 km away, or Skeikampen golf 30 km away. Frisbee golf is also available at Øyer secondary school. The cabin is a short distance from Gaiastova, which has a shop, restaurant and après ski. A little further up you will find Ilsetra, where you can hire electric bikes, and there is an outdoor swimming pool and sauna. Feel free to try the "Bastuferga" in Lillehammer! There is a floating jetty with a sauna where you can jump into the water between sauna sessions, refreshing!
