Good overall.
We enjoyed our stay overall in a well located cottage. There had been an issue with the fridge which we were advised about in advance (it was fixed just before we arrived) We were told that we could access the house slightly earlier than advised on booking which was a nice bonus.
There are some observations though.
We had a three year old in our party and upon arrival, there was a bottle of bleach within easy reach in the downstairs toilet which wasnât securely closed.
The kitchen table was very sticky and needed a good scrub before it could be used.
There were two pairs of scissors in the cutlery drawer. Both were broken. There was a sieve/strainer which was rusty and not fit for purpose. We bought a new pair of scissors and a new strainer and left them in the drawer for you.
The crockery and pans and some of the utensils could do with replacing.
The welcome boxes seem stingy. One dishwasher tablet for a stay of four nights?
One toilet roll per bathroom for a four night stay is again, somewhat stingy.
There was a used poo bag outside the doors to the patio. This was definitely from previous tenants as we didnât have a dog.
Finally, your communications donât agree with each other. The email says 11am checkout, the text says 10am. We felt that there were TOO MANY communications overall which felt somewhat dictatorial.
With a few needed updates and more sympathetic communication, weâd have given this house 5âs.
