Welcome to The Tidal Shack - A stunningly refurbished (2022) cottage - really close to The Bay Filey holiday village centre - metres from the pub yet quiet and with a large garden and patio and access to the Cleveland Way this is an ideal choice for a family escape!

Enter into a spacious hallway (with WC off), with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the left is a large kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break.

The large lounge area is beautifully decorated with views of the garden and stunning widescreen SMART TV. French doors lead to the patio and BBQ area.

There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 and a large kitchen with all the appliances and supplies you need for a self catering break.

Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms with the master having a shower room ensuite as well as a twin room off the landing. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over.

The Tidal Shack is a large holiday home and is ideal for a large family holiday!

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Fabulous stay at the Tidal Shack

Lovely holiday home with everything we needed. Great location near all the amenities. Had a great meal at the pub although a little expensive. Would definitely recommend to others .

A lovely few days away

We had a lovely stay at The Tidal Shack, the home was spacious and tidy, perfect for our family of 5. The home had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and tv services. Will definitely be back again!

A lovely cottage

This cottage is so spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and would definitely recommend. The 2 minor things it needs is a door mat on entry and a new can opener.

Excellent Seaside Holiday

House was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our family. It was close to the amenities but remained quiet and peaceful. We loved the walk through the woods to the beach cafe, and enjoyed many hours on the beach. Owners were quick to respond to any queries. We would be happy to return or to book again.

Practically Perfect

The Tidal Shack is situated close to the fabulous filey beach and makes a perfect base for visits to the many attractions of the Yorkshire coastline. The cottage is well presented, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We couldn't get the shower in the bathroom to work or the bedroom TV (possibly needs a new battery in the remote), but other than that it was a very nice place to spend a few days. It was our second visit and we hope to visit again next year.

Amazing place

We stayed for Easter school holidays and were pleased with the cost and the quality of the accommodation. It blew us away when we walked in. Beautiful and just like home. Kitchen utensils just like you would have at home, I can’t think of anything missing I would need to cook a meal. The washing machine is not a dryer also so beware as you cannot peg out so drying clothes could be an issue. The facilities were brilliant, best swimming pool we have been in on a holiday. Overall highly recommended.
