Villa Fonte Siena

The villa in Monticchiello has 6 bedrooms and has capacity for 12 people. Villa Fonte Siena is located in Monticchiello, in the municipality of Pienza, in Val D'Orcia.A few km from Montepulciano, Pienza and Chianciano. It is a villa from 1800, later renovated. The structure is on two floors (not communicating): a lower one, with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the bedroom and 1 service (so 4 in total);And an upper one, with 3 bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 1 with two single beds and 3 bathrooms.On each floor you will find 2 well-equipped and furnished kitchens, 2 bright dining rooms and 2 living rooms with TV. On the upper floor there is also a fireplace, while from the first floor there is direct access to a cloister where there are barbecues.Externally we have: a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Val D'Orcia, not heated (fenced) open from May 15th to September 30th with sun loungers and a large garden with many fruit trees and an olive grove, there is also a wood oven. For the little ones there are swings and a ping-pong table. There is free parking under a canopy.Usually, on the first day we leave customers a small welcome for breakfast: (eggs, milk, biscuits, coffee, tea..)We have a laundry, open to customers where they can find: the washing machine and the washer-dryer.Monticchiello is a medieval village 2 km away very beautiful, you have to see the church, the fortress.Restaurants La Porta, da Daria (they are expensive even if the food is good), Bronzino or Bronzone the food is very good and 'Fra Paolino. I recommend you book in advance.There is a Bar La Guardiola where you can also find sandwiches.In Montepulciano you can eat very well at the "Briciola" in the center and Fattoria il Pulcino on the road to Chianciano.The view of the Val d'Orcia is beautiful and you can admire it everywhere.In August in Monticchiello there is a theater that is performed in the evening outdoors and is very famous and in Montepulciano there is the Bravio in the last week of August you can eat well in the districts and the Bruscello.Worth seeing are Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni famous for its spas. Famous not only for their beauty but also for the wine Montalcino the "Brunello" or the Rosso and Montepulciano the "Nobile".The closest city is Siena which is very beautiful about 1 hour.Florence is very beautiful and is about an hour and a half away.Air conditioning is included in the price. (On the lower floor it is found throughout the house, while on the upper floor it is found in the bedrooms)Heating is not included in the price and there are two separate meters per apartment, cost: 5 euros per MC.Deposit 500 euros to be paid on arrival and returned before departure.We welcome small dogs, 100 euros per stay.Tourist tax: 2 euros per day per person, to be paid on arrival in cash,children under 12 do not pay it.Cleaning and linen change takes place once a week.Check-in is from 4pm to 8pm, while check-out is from 8-9.30am.We have 2 cots for children and 1 high chair.The house has an alarm system and safes.Wi-fi available and included in the price.
