The beach at Carbis Bay, with its white sand and calm waters, is just 1 mile from the property, while Porthmeor Beach, which is popular with surfers, is 1.5 miles away. Art lovers will want to visit the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, both also 1.5 miles away. Keen walkers might like to pick up the South West Coast Path and follow it for a blustery ramble before finding a welcoming pub to stop off and refuel.
Head into the white-washed, three-storey cottage to find accommodation with a fresh, seaside appeal. The whites and blues are complemented by stylish greys, and decor that gives a gentle hint towards the coastal theme. At the heart of the holiday home is a light-filled lounge/diner, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a door to your outside space. Find a film on the Smart TV or simply chat about your adventures and make plans for the following day. The adjacent kitchen also has a modern style and has been equipped with everything you are likely to need to help you cater for your party during your stay. A family shower room is also positioned downstairs. When you are ready to turn in for the night, head up to the first floor of the house where you will find a zip-and-link super-king-size (which can be arranged as a twin on request at time of booking). There is also a king size bedroom and a family shower room on this level. Venture up to the top-floor snug and choose to watch the smart TV, play on the games console, or enjoy a little quiet time with a book.
Savour the sunshine and sea air out in the enclosed seating area. This has been designed to offer decking across two levels. Grill supper on the BBQ out here on fine evenings and dine together as the sun goes down. There is private parking for one car.
