Not Recommended – Appartment in Poor Conditions, Mouldy and Lack of Information
Our experience staying at this apartment was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The only positive aspect was the location—it’s conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from La Sagrada Familia. Unfortunately, everything else about the stay was unacceptable.The apartment was in terrible condition. One entire wall was covered in mold, which was completely misrepresented in the listing photos that showed a clean, white surface. The strong mold smell made the air difficult to breathe and created an unhealthy environment.The AC system malfunctioned during our stay—it started making loud, strange noises and even dropped ice cubes unexpectedly, which was both alarming and inconvenient.The worst part was the bathroom setup. Shockingly, the toilet and shower are fully open to the bedroom—there’s no wall, door, or even a curtain to separate them. This complete lack of privacy is never mentioned in the listing and would be a deal-breaker for most travelers.To make matters worse, the toilet didn’t function properly. About 70% of the time, the tank wouldn’t refill after flushing, leaving us unable to use it. It became so frustrating that we preferred using public restrooms in restaurants instead of returning to the apartment.Lastly, the entire bedroom reeked of a foul smell coming from the sink and toilet pipes. It was persistent, unpleasant, and made it impossible to relax or get comfortable.I'd like to upload photos to prove it but I Can't find the way to do so in Vrb
