Relax and unwind in rural Northumberland, enjoy the stunning views of the burn, surrounding hills and countryside from The Mill. A beautifully presented 4 bedroom converted farm building enjoying a fabulous position within a courtyard development of similar cottages, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It is also in the dark skies area for an amazing starry sky experience. With enclosed gardens to 3 sides you can follow the sun all day and there is plenty of space to relax & play.

The space
From the front door you will enter the hall with storage cupboard.

A Bright, airy sitting room with full height ceiling, exposed original roof timbers and large glazed opening leading to a large terrace overlooking Wreigh Burn. The sitting room has leather sofas, a stone inglenook fireplace, a log-burning stove, flat-screen television with Freeview and Netflix, DVD player with a collection of DVDs, and shelves of good books.

Separate dining kitchen, again with a full height ceiling and original beams, and with its own large glazed access on to the terrace overlooking the burn. oak kitchen units complement the oak dining table with seating for eight guests. The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has a large range cooker and integrated appliances, including a Fridge- freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

Closest to the living areas, tucked behind the kitchen, is a cosy bedroom with bunk beds (ideal for children) and an interesting window facing the courtyard formed from an original ventilation slit.

Next along the hall of the bedroom wing is a double bedroom with a double bed, exposed beams and views of the burn.

Next is a fun L-shaped twin bedroom.

The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower, original exposed beams, a large window looking towards the burn, and a king-size bed.

Modern family bathroom with electric shower and glazed shower screen over the bath.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout this cottage.

Externally the Mill has enclosed gardens to 3 sides, the rear garden has a patio and outdoor seating for 8, whilst the large side garden is ideal for playing and having fun, whether you are a child, adult or for your pets!

There are 2 dedicated parking spaces within the courtyard area.

There is also a communal tennis court and lots of local walks nearby.

Guest access
The whole cottage is let to guests for their exclusive and private use.

Please let us know if you are bringing a dog(s) or if you need a travel cot or highchair.
The local petrol station is approx. 4.5 miles away in the village of Thropton. It also has a well Stocked shop, deli & butchers.
There is a co-op in Rothbury, butchers, bakery, delicatessen and a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Most major supermarkets deliver to The Mill, as do a few local takeways in nearby Rothbury.

The property is in a great rural location for peace and quiet. Ideal as a base for exploring the local area. Well equipped kitchen if not eating out. Lovely property.
