My home is a beautifully designed five bedroom ‘barn-style’ holiday home, situated on Minety Lake.
South facing with three levels of luxurious living, open-plan spaces and private hot tub, it is a perfect base for family getaways or celebrations.
The lake-house comfortably sleeps 10, with 2 super-king size and 2 king bedrooms and large trundle bunk bed. There is also a sofabed and cots available on request!
The listing includes free access to Lower Mill Estate pool and other facilities.
Three floors of luxurious living await in this stunning ‘barn-style’ holiday house, built in 2023.
Every room radiates contemporary elegance and quality, with soothing tones and a calming ambiance inspired by the renowned Lower Mill Estate.
THE GROUND FLOOR
Step inside, and you'll immediately notice the luxurious yet homely feel. The triple-storey glass curtain wall floods the space with natural light, creating a spectacular backdrop for the modern kitchen, living area, and upper floors.
The kitchen is a masterpiece of design, blending harmoniously with the outdoor scenery. It boasts premium appliances, including an induction hob, oven, microwave oven, and full-size dishwasher. The centrepiece is a Carrara Gold Quartz island, perfect for gathering, relaxing, and making memories.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy snug area, ideal for children to play or stream their favourite shows.
The rear of the ground floor opens into a breathtaking dining and living space. The dining area seats eight, making it perfect for celebrations, while the inviting living area, furnished with plush Loaf sofas, surrounds a wood burner for cozy evenings.
Step outside to the private deck, equipped with a hot tub, BBQ, lounging area, and a jetty for paddleboarding, kayaking, or a refreshing swim if you’re feeling adventurous.
Additional amenities include a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, a shower room to rinse off after water activities, wooden flooring throughout, and electric semi-sheer blinds for added privacy.
Underfloor heating with zoned thermostats ensures year-round comfort.
THE FIRST FLOOR
This floor features one of two luxurious super-king bedrooms, complete with a beautifully designed en-suite shower room and its own balcony offering lake views. Both this bedroom and the principle bedroom upstairs include electric honeycomb blinds to ensure a restful sleep.
There are two additional king-size bedrooms: one with an en-suite shower room and the other with access to the family bathroom, which features a bath and overhead shower.
THE SECOND FLOOR
The crowning jewel of the house is the master bedroom, with its iconic gable-end window offering stunning lake views. This spacious retreat includes a separate lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
The second bedroom on this floor is a child’s paradise, featuring an epic bunk bed (single top, small double middle, and single trundle), plus a futon sofa that converts to a small double bed. This room is packed with toys and ideal for the ultimate sleepover experience. Two travel cots are also available.
Built-in wardrobes in every bedroom provide ample storage for extended stays. There’s also a stylish bathroom on this floor, equipped with Hansgrohe sanitary ware, like all the others in the house.
PARKING
The property offers parking for three cars, with additional overflow parking available on the Estate. An EV charger is also provided for electric vehicles.
REMOTE WORKING
Superfast Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, with plenty of quiet spaces for working if needed.
THE SURROUNDING AREA
Set within the gated luxury holiday park of Lower Mill Estate, the house is surrounded by 450 acres of nature reserve, including lakes, rivers, and private woodlands with trails for walking, running, and cycling.

On-site, the Activity Hub provides equipment rentals and guidance for water sports and cycling. Nature lovers can spot wildlife such as otters, deer, and even beavers.

During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
