Maricor is a modern lakeside lodge designed for downtime. Whether you’re here to unwind in the hot tub, paddle across the water, or just stretch out in a beautifully put-together space, this is the kind of place that makes you breathe out the moment you arrive - ideal for families, couples or small groups. With lake views from almost every angle, an enclosed deck, and a master balcony for your morning coffee, it’s peaceful, polished, and exactly where you want to be.
The Space:
• Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms
• Ground-floor kingsize bedroom with bathroom
• Master ensuite with balcony + walk-in wardrobe
• Third bedroom: flexible super-king or twin setup
• Open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge with lake views
• Utility room with washing machine + dryer
• Private hot tub and enclosed deck overlooking the water
• BBQ and outdoor seating area
• Dog-friendly (up to 2 dogs)
• Built in 2023 with modern fixtures throughout
Guest Access:
• The lodge is available for your entire use
• Direct lake access and kayak included
• Parking for up to 2 vehicles (+visitor)
• Entry to our gated Waters Edge estate
The Neighborhood:
Maricor sits within the Waters Edge estate in South Cerney, part of the Cotswold Lakes. You’re surrounded by lakes, walking trails and wildlife - It's perfect for a morning paddle or golden hour stroll. The village has great pubs, coffee stops and local shops, and you’re only 15 minutes from Cirencester for markets, dining, and a bit of Roman charm. Think nature on your doorstep, but everything you need close by.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended to make the most of what the Cotswolds and the water park has to offer. The lodge is 7 miles (10 mins) from Kemble railway station in the main line from London Paddington and a 10 minute walk from the 51 bus stop (Cheltenham to Swindon). If arriving by air, we are equidistance between London Heathrow, Birmingham and Bristol airports, all just over an hour to hour and half away
Other Things to Note:
• 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (£30 per dog)
• 1x Travel cot and 1x high chair available
• Paddleboard hire available
• Decorations for special occasions available on request
• No smoking indoors, no parties or events
• Quiet hours: 22:30 - 8:00
• Check in 15:00 | Check out 10:00

We are Barry and Jo and we have an amazing collection of Cotswold holiday lodges on Cotswold Water Park near the old Roman town of Cirencester with most of them dog friendly.
We’ve been coming to this beautiful area for many years and about 5 years ago we decided to make the move permanent. We set up our company in 2018, starting with our own holiday home on Windrush lake but as you can see from our portfolio now, we have grown quite considerably!We love to travel and just before the “you know what pandemic” we spent 12 months travelling around the world ending up in New Zealand for Christmas and New Year and then working our way up to Hawaii and North, Central and South America. We think we know what it takes to get a place right for our fantastic guests but we are always learning!
We couldn’t do this without our fantastic team which is growing year by year. Unlike many of the larger companies selling holiday lets we, and our team, know all of our properties intimately because we provide the full service from cleaning and hosting through to managing the hot tubs, the plants on the decking and even window cleaning! Jo, Adele and Meg are the last ones to visit your holiday lodge just before you get there to make sure the place is perfect for your stay – you may even bump into one of them on your way in!
