Perfectly serviceable but more suited to locals and visitors with cars. Not being from the UK and travelling without a car made the stay a bit confusing, given the location was not disclosed until an hour before checkin, making it quite challenging to plan our navigation. Also the entertainment system requires the purchase of a license to use. Not really the owners' fault.

Bad points: Property was disgustingly dirty and grubby. Needs a serious deep cleanProperty not well maintained. Kitchen units falling apart, appliances grubby and rusting even inside the microwave. Freezer so iced up that drawers hard to open and fronts broken. Mould on window walls and around bath, toilets etc. Broken glass in main wardrobe door and filthy inside.Coat hangers that are so flimsy would only hold a light top, everything else just fell on the dirty wardrobe floor. Don’t think the plugholes or venetian blinds have been cleaned in years.Good points: Host was responsive and helpfulTea, coffee biscuits, toiletries provided.Good private parking. Maybe ok for contractors if they only need to sleep but not for a 3week rehab stay after a major operation, unfortunately we had to make the best of it, having no other option.
